It is a 207/214 with a 110 or 112 LSA. I will be swapping in a bigger cam with the new motor.

No you don't have to time the cam like the older models. I did put it on the dyno to tune it to get the max power output for it.

I just got the cam it is a 224/228 which is going to be nasty!

and? full bolt ons gears and cams all you'll see is 300 ish whp. and you'll spend a hell of a lot more money on the v8 parts then on the v6 parts.

I'm not a hater on the 2v 4.6, i'm just saying the v6's have an assload of potential. The stock block is pretty strong

was the car tuned already when you took this video? Now that I think about it, it doesn't sound like it's tuned which is giving it the exaggerated lope.. I could be wrong but with the cam specs that you gave it doesn't seem like it could create that much of a lopey idle.

You are correct, the car was not tuned at that point. Now with it tuned it still has a nice idle but not as lopey

fucking badass, I love when people work with what they have. I'd rather have a 14 second v6 than a 13 second gt.. Everyone and there sister has a quick v8 car.  A modded v6 is by far more unique in terms of being modded well.

CAI, Cam, RR, Full Exhaust, UDP, Tune. I have not really had a clean 1/4 pass just on motor since being tuned with the cam or a Nitrous pass either.

No, you do not need headers but it will help with the performance gains. You should get new rockers and valve springs while you are there so that you don't have to change latter. If you do the cam, get new lifters and pushrods since you have to remove the lower intake as well. It is like a one stop shopping, do it right the first time and be done with it.

I put down 230/230 to the wheels. MPG and i give her hell is around 17-18 mpb
