@EddieEddieEddie90 Yeah, when I played this a few years ago, I always managed to beat Dracula without getting hit once or using subweapons. Maria's quick attacks and her sliding ability helps a lot...

The original Rondo of Blood is way too hard for me. Even as Maria.
I can't even remember if I beated this game.
I'm better at the PSP-Remake. Not that this says much, it's easier than the original. ^^"
Good job, I bet I would have had a few more problems with this boss.

@Externica I've played the PSP Remake too... I also agree that it was easier than the original, with the exception of the extra 3rd form Dracula has in the remake... I died about 5 times trying to memorize his pattern... X3

I can't remember how often I died, trying to kill Dracula's third form. It was either the heart-blood-thing, the fire or spikes that killed me, instead. I just try to not think of it. ^^"
But I made it through the Boss Rush enough times, to unlock everything.

There was a SNES remake of this, and it sucked, all the stages were different from the original, you couldn't play as Maria, 2 of the 4 captured girls as well as Shaft weren't included, and it wasn't very hard.

Really? I thought the last form of Dracula in the SNES version was a lot harder than in the this version. One mistake and you're dead because of all the pedestals and gaps in the floor.
