It's SSAA, but I can do MSAA (your regular AA technique) as well, on both dx9 & dx10.

Yes, nvidia added a setting on the game's profile that allows the use of MSAA on dx10 a long time ago.

Indeed initially this wasn't possible.

I don't know if and how it works on AMD/ATi hardware.

Believe me, yes! Playing on easy is way to easy...playing on medium is a hell of alot harder. playing on hard is near suicide. And if you have a PS3 playing on impossible IS suicide.

You can't. DX10 uses a different driver model that Windows XP doesn't support.

Yeah, that one guy above me posted that he could, but I did some research of my own, only to find out that it's nearly impossible. You'd have to code a bunch of stuff, making XP Vista. It's not just changing a bunch of DLL's.

technicaly ur right but amateur modders have found ways to enable dx 10 effects on dx 9 without to mutch loss in performance , not more than say doing it for real itself . I have dx 10 effects running on crysis right now and I have an xp system, just need to wait for someone to crack the safeguards letting pple use it in dx 9 because they effects are completly plausible on the dx 9 engine , u want dx ten u gotta buy vista , oh.....how convienient that happened by chance.......
