I'm from Austria and a Springsteen Fan cince i first heard Born in the USA back in 1984, i was 13 then . I've got evrything from Bruce, Cd's Concert DVD's and have been on 12 Concerts so far, your cover is one of the best i've ever heard. Great song great voice !!! Keep on going !!!!

This is the best cover of this song on YouTube. Also I would like to say to anyone who is into recording that this is a top example of how to record. The guitar sounded awesome, your playing is very fluid. I love the way you use the open top string (capo F#) to add depth to the D but only at certian times. The way you placed and used different versions of each chord is a lesson to all beginers that want to move their playing up a notch.

When I record, I record the audio in Pro Tools LE, through an Mbox 2 soundcard on two channels. One for the microphone I'm singing in (this also picks up the guitar) and secondly the preamp of the guitar (plugged in). If I remember correctly I applied some compression, a bit of EQ and then some reverb after the recording. The video is recorded through a simple video capture application at the same time. I hope this will shed some light on the matter. :)

Could you tell us the strumming you use? it's the best cover I've seen of this song! Why don't you do a tutorial about how to play it? There aren't many tutorials of this song, in fact I think there's only one...

I'm afraid I'm probably one of the worst people on this planet when it comes to explaining how to play a song... hehe. I dont know much musical theory, but I'll give it a try. Maybe someone else reading this can help out?

I put a capo on the third fret, and play the song like it would go in C major. I use C - F - C - G. It may look like I play a G7 in the chorus, but it's actually a G add11. Also, in the chorus I play a C with a low E bass. And D minor.

It's like Martin or Taylor quality at a reduced price in my opinion.
