Humans very often tend to believe they are important. The larger their ego the more they think themselves to be some great and important hero. Most of those overestimate themselves as was the case with Joseph Smitty. He even went so far as to boast of his greatness, believijng himself to be greater than all other prophets--and at least as great or important as Christ himself. This should be the red flag warning people of the boastings of a con job/false prophet.

@42apostate No . He was always talking about the lord. There´s a bad concept about humility. Christ himself was saying he was the son of God and called vipers to pharisees. Joseph was in the same direction he never said he is the Christ. That is the sign of a false prophet. He didn´t do.

2. That no man did such a work as he. This would include Adam, Moses, Elijah,

Example: Joseph Smith's fathers "dream" he told him as a child is in the text of the BoM (the iron rod). Critics say it proves the book fraudulent as it was source material. LD$ Inc. teach this event validated the authenticity of JS's work to his father, and to show JS his father was "favored" by God.
