Domination, Angular One, and Special Agent Sneak Peek

I just got the Storm Special Agent a few weeks ago. First game out of the box, shooting from the 15 board out to 5, I shot a 240 with 3 turkeys. Ball hits like a freight train! Last Wednesday after opening in the first on a lousy 3 pin, I strung 7 strikes in a row, then spared in the 9th and doubled in the 10th for a 257 which tied my second highest game. Once the lanes break down, as long as you play a more inside line, you're pretty safe with it.

r u trying to prove a point? because your doing a terrible job. the lefty won, cause he was the only one on that side. it matters even more on a difficult shot. even the announcers (as bad as they are) were saying how he has an advantage.

yea its an adjustment but not compared to what the righties had to make. he only had to adjust to himself. everyone else had to adjust to the other righties playing on the right side of the lane.

Well i didnt see it yesterday, i was at a tournament.

But one day doesnt represent lefties.

We can adjust just as much as any righty, you all can have your opinions, but your not lefties so you wouldnt know.

that wasnt the first time ive seen that on the pba. that happens every time theres only 1 righty. the righty always wins.

We don't favor our left hand dumb-shit, we learned to bowl that way, and yes we do have less people burning up our likne because there is a dramatically less percentage of lefties as righties, but we can still adjust.And im not talking about PBA, but bowlers in general.

im pretty sure that when your left handed, your body favors your left hand. a good example of lefties not being able to adjust is the pba match that was on yesterday.

Why are people so jealous of lefties ?

We can adjust just as much as much as the next guy, just because we break down slower because theres not as much carry down doesnt mean we cant make a move, and not all lefties complain. Does Parker Bohn complain? How about Patrick Allen ? Or Rhino Page ? or Jason couch ?

You all are just jealous that lefties are better bowlers.

try holding your form when you are on the foul line. it ensures that you have good timing and will ultimately help you become a better bowler.

Jay, if you would followe through on your shot you could get a whole lot better backend motion on your ball. If you do this, dkane could you make a video of it. Really enjoy it. Just a tip though

tht 4 7 10 split was not pocket i just passed my phase 1 and can tell tht is ligth in the pocket otherwise if it was pocket u would have taken all 10 out.

I bought myself a storm domination for a week ago or something and used it in our league. Damn its a god damn beast. But i loved it, have looked for a ball like that for some time:P

How do you have the SA drilled? Mine hooks a hell of a lot later than yours. And more (maybe that's the lane though).

it was the lanes. the lanes were better on the special agent only video i made. the day i made this video, the ball was losing alot of energy in the front. its drilled for strong midlane read with continuous backend.

@pocket 4-7-10: I'm not so sure it was a bad rack, I think the shot was just thin. But yeah, watch out for those old Brunswick pinsetters, they can be a pain ^_^

I think the rack was bad when Jay left that 4-7-10. Trust me, I re-rack about 3-5 times per day at my center. Always check the rack, especially on those old Brunswick machines!

I just got a Special Agent last month... It' pretty strong, but still not as strong as my Black Widow... That's alright though, since I got them to do different things. ^_^ How does the SA compare to your Angular?

Well im thinking that my previous ball driller drilled my angular wrong. Its starting to hook either really early or really late. So im probably gonna get it redrilled sometime soon. The special agent is a little earlier with its roll then the angular one, but that is expected. Id say the sa hooks like 3-4 boards more depending on the oil. Im at a friends house right now, but when i get home im going to upload the new special agent video.

I've been thinking about getting the Angular One for awhile now. What type of reaction did you get with yours and what's your overall impression on it? From what people have told me, it's not as Angular as what people had expected it to be; more of a hard arc.

When i first got it, it was pretty angular. But after i wore it in for a few games, it is more of a hard arc. my previous driller drilled the ball with the no drill layout, but the reaction i get it still great. I really love its versatility, but i cant use it on heavy oil because of its long breakpoint.
