@Bulzeeb15 I think the whole conceptual point is moot compared to the fact that, even if you were to replace the hard hat with a cloth hat - making a cloth hat to move at the speed of a bullet would PROBABLY ALSO BE FATAL.

This was me, before I got it right. I thought that it wouldn't make a difference whether it was a hard hat or wool hat, so long as it was shaped like a bullet but wasn't a bullet. Apparently, it DOES make a difference, so long as it's being flung at the speed of a bullet, has the shape of a bullet, but isn't HARD like a bullet.
