  • i... think im going to cry *tearing up from absolute beauty*

  • this guy (Rob Evan) did everything better than any of the Jekyll's, not just Hoff. lol!

  • the best representation of Jekyll and Hyde I've ever seen

  • When Rob said "Freeeeeee" That was awesome. Kinda sounded like Frankensteins monster also. Rob is the best Jekyll and Hyde ever!!!!

  • I coudn't stop laughing when he said " And alls wEEeeell." Go Hyde and his dark humor.

  • You know, I saw on the official fansite for J&H that there's going to be a movie version sometime in the near future... if they don't have Rob starring... let me rephrase that, if they have the Hoff starring, I will make an online petition to boycott the movie. Who's with me?!

  • @ihartrodatkins I'm with you! Hoff should be locked up somewhere where he can't do movies.

  • ROB EVENS DID IT THE BEST :)

  • 5 centimetres? Of liquid?

  • @pppdwandcpfanno1 He said "centiliters," which might make sense if the syringe were much larger. Milliliters (i.e. cc's) are a more typical measure of an IV injection such as Jeckyll gave himself here. One centiliter equals 10 cc's or 10 milliliters.

  • @Catmom2004 Ah right. Thought it was a bit odd. Sounded like "m"

  • Is it me or does the beginning (while Jekyll) seem Disney-ish? Wonderful and well done, and I love Disney movies and such, just saying. Amazing job Rob. :)

  • where can u get the entire taping of this musical with rob evans?

  • @popprincess6253 This taping was never made official but I have it also. It was the rehearsal to the hasselhoff tape, Rob Evan was the alternate. This taping is usually found on trading sites. PM me if you want the download links.

  • how hard is it to fake stabbing urself?

  • slight euphoria... *giggling* no *giggle* noticable *laughing harder* behavioral differences!

  • woooooooooooooah this was BOMB

  • four a clock...all is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelll!

  • John Barrymore, Frederic March, Spencer Tracy (in a version that should never have been made)... and this? Bah.

  • I was totally mixing too many thoughts with that comment. Make it a movie. Robert Cuccioli starring. Lol

  • That's it. Remake the movie. Rob Evan starring. Everyone should be happy... Hasselhoff? Really? Buh.

  • What he does so well, is he takes his time. His actions have meaning, as opposed to just moving because the director said to. That is the mark of a good actor, in addition to his great voice.

  • Ah, yes. The standard Victorian-era pony-tail.

  • i seen him tarzan he was great

  • this is brilliant! where can you pick this up on DVD?

  • @kevycanavan a DVD of this show was made...but it's not Rob Evan as Jekyll and Hyde...it's David Hasslehoff...you can find that one cheap enough on Amazon.com I think. I've heard the Rob Evan one is floating around and you could find it somewhere. It's not offical, though.

  • @broadwaysweetie Really?? I'm searching it from quite a while!! Don't you have an idea where I can find it?? Pleaseeeeeeee *____*

  • @KathyGeinLecter Amazon.com and Ebay would be your best bets, honestly, I think.

  • @KathyGeinLecter You can download it as a RAR file on payloadz.com

  • This is great, I love Rob Evan! Where id this come from? I have been searching for a dvd of J&H with Rob Evan, but all I can find is the Hasselhoff version... which is not half as good as this in my opinion.

If anyone knows where to find this please let me know!

  • amazing

  • something that this guy did better than hoff was the way his voice changes.

  • this guy did everything better than hoff.

  • That's the understatement of the century. Hoff was an utter embarrassment. He was practically laughed off the stage on the final night. I saw Rob Evan perform this on a night when Cuciolli was out sick and I was pissed. That is until I heard Rob kick ass!

  • indeed he did

  • Everyone else did everything better than Hoff.

  • @rcwalvg Amen to that. :)

  • @kiki09ist I love that sound of him as Hyde. If you watch the proshot of him in Confrontation, it almost looks like his face changes shape as he switches back and forth. LOVE this guy!

  • amazing perofrmace. much better than the hoff.

  • The music adds something Very creepy to the show!

  • Not bad at all, but to be honest with you, I didn't see any change in his appearance except for his hair getting messed up.

  • But Hyde IS an evil psychopath...? I don't like Hoff either, but it sounds funny to say he shouldn't sound like an evil psychopath when that's the point that Hyde starts to wake up. Lol.

  • i just noticed he looks a little like bob hope around 5:02

  • Rob Evans is a LOT better than Hoff! =O.O= His expressions during the transformations and the voice change from Jekyll to Hyde is chilling!!

  • every1 is better then the hoff... this is great =D

  • lol, /agree. thing is, Hoff is an ACTOR. as such, he really won't have the greatest of voices in his rep, unless he actually had voice lessons.

  • @Nowraidond The sad thing is he said he did.

  • Lol, it's so funny when he just flops on the floor like that after "drives me insane". And then at "killing me" he flips over like a pancake. Ehehehe!

  • Ahah! You noticed it too, uh? XD It was just like "Ker-splat!" and then "Ok, cooking time's over, let's just FLIIP!"

I just thought: "Oh gosh. That Hyde is swinging like a fish outside water!" XD

  • Lol, Mr Hyde is a cooked fish? Tasty. Though I prefer proper red meat. Yuuuuum, I'm getting hungry...

  • Amazing totally gave me goosebumps. I love Rob Evans way better than Hoff. Rob's change in his voice between Jekyll and Hyde was so natural and controled that it realy did seem like it was two different people talking. That was great

  • I have seen everyone who played this role on Broadway. Robert Evan is the best by far. I wish the DVD that was availoable to the public had him in it instead of Hasslewho.

  • dude, i so agree

  • Hoff was ok but his vibrato is outa control

  • Come on Hasselhoff, you don't have to call yourself porkhunt. We all know it's you and not just some 18 year old tool from Australia.

  • Waait, aren't you the same guys who laughed their arses off at hoff's spas attack?

    (Yes, I do notice) =P

  • Why don't they have the DVD with him in it instead of Hasslehoff?

  • I love Rob Evans' performance. He has such a natural flow to his acting. It may seem less theatrical, but it feels more natural. Same goes for Coleen Sexton who plays Lucy. Both of them are phenomenal.

  • The Hoff was NOT better! he should never have been cast in this part, Rob Evan should sing his way through and not speak as much. he has an amazing voice but this is a song not a spoken piece set to music,

  • wow O_O

I thought that was an amazing performance, but I think that he's alot more hyde like and alot less Jekyll like, he's looks a lot more manly than i picture jekyll. But that was awesome O_O

& I don't know if this is weird, but I love his arms <3 And his voice <3

  • rob evan is the best jeklly and hyde ever

  • I sooooo wanna see "His Work and Nothing More" one. and another question, where are you getting these?!

  • Rob Evan dose a really good job here,Im sure we all have our favorites I have even seen the fans David Hasselhoff defending his role. Me personally I have always loved Sebastian Bach's portrayal of Hyde,so Demonic with his amazing voice & his Jekyll so emotionally passionate.... again we all have our favorites & I think Rob is pretty good here.

  • I do respect your opinion, but having said that Sabastion Bach cannot hold a candle to Rob's vocals. I have heard many other jekylls and none can compare to the time i saw him on broadway when he was givin a standing ovation after This is the Moment and he was forced to take a bow and stop the show. Breathtaking!!!

  • Sebastian Bach is second to none....

  • where do i go to see Sebastian Bach's performances?

  • Well he has done Broadway, Last year he play sold out shows at Madison Square guardians

Air Canada Center, The Budokan in Tokyo,Bashing China. He is starting an Australian tour & will hit the states I think in July.

  • I think his acting was lacking a bit, but he has a great voice! And of course better than Hassie.

  • I agree, he isn't as good as Hoff (it is still very good) but his singing is much better.

  • No, i was saying that he was MUCH BETTEr than Hoff. But, that's just my opinion.

  • Srry, I worded my reply a bit odd. (I was half asleep) I meant that he wasn't as good acting and that he was much better singing. *adds making youtube comments after staying up for about... *counts*...23.5 hours to "list of things not to do"*

  • I don't like his performance, I thought David Hasselhoff did a much better job

  • ...

  • ...

  • Thank you SO much for this! I love Rob Evan
