FYI...These reusable type of heat pads and hand warmers are best stored in the Liquid state, not hardened. When hardened, the water can diffuse a bit easier through the plastic covering. If they sit like this for long periods of time the salt/water ratio gets a bit off and they salt will not have enough water to reactivate completely. I know, cause I own some from HotSnapZ com
