I saw the movie of "Hair" when I was in 7th grade, I think....and when I asked my English teacher (at Monroe Jr-Sr High School) what 'sodomy" meant (because there is the song by that name in the show), my teacher literally threw the dictionary at me, thinking I was being a smart ass. this is a true story.
