How did you prepare this engine for the supercharger? Or does it just get another engine because the other one was tired? It does all look great, that's for sure!
The only real differance is the cam, ARP studs for the head and mains and chrome rings. The engine only has 7:1 comp. and the SC has a max boost of 7psi, if it was higher forged pistons would be in order. The old engine is still in the car and running, I built this one two years ago and just haven't got around to installing it. The existing engine runs good but seems to be a bit behind it's potential. When my land speed racer is finished I may find time to change it out.

Is the new cam specially made for a supercharged engine or is it just a fast road/race cam?

I have the "Stage one SC cam in the engine in the car now, not real impressed, so I picked a profile I think will work better. We'll see.

I also lightened the crank a bit and balanced to within .05g, I hope with the new cam to rev to better than 6000.
