You do realise there are not actual dedicated sniper lobbies right lmfao? I watched the same interview as you and even I understood this. What he meant by the "Player customizing their experience" Is that the people that like to snipe can setup a Sniper lobby if they want, like you can do in CoD 4 and MW2. He doesn't mean there's actually a dedicated Sniper lobby, but players can set one up like they did in previous games if they want to.

I think that you should have to get your knife out with down on the DPad or something (That's not used for anything) and then you can use R3/RS to knife. You gotta keep the knife, but it should take time to stab them, to make it more realistic.

I do think MW3 will change. There is a BUNCH of negative feedback about this game. But I think IW are doing better and the game, will get better. Sure its nothing like Killzone 3, Crysis 2 or even Battlefield 3. But its a nice toned down version of them games and I think its a really fun arcade shooter. These are my expectations for MW3. Sure it probably wont happen cuz they usually dont change much. But anywhore. There should be a melee system sort of like BC2. Where your knife looks like its

I snipe most of the time and I know that my K/D would be much higher if I just used regular guns. I do it because its fun, it's not cheap at all, and when I use a regular gun I find snipers the easiest people to kill (and no I'm not talking about idiots jumping of buildings doing 360 no scope's all the time).

I think they should give the knife it's own weapon slot, thus opening up a whole opportunity to put in different types of knives the player can choose from, each with it's own advantages and disadvantages. (i.e. damage, knife recovery speed, lunge, etc.)

This would effectively take out panic knifing if you had to switch to the knife first.

Personally sounds wonderful. I'm thinking I'm going to like MW3. But at the same time not. For one reason; snipers. Snipers are going to potentially ruin the game if they get abused like in MW2. And I'm not taking a shot at snipers. But honestly, if people abuse snipers, anyone who's not sniping will be shitting themselves in a corner, which would promote camping. I think the m40 is definitely back.

The Sniper lobbies are already in on the PC, You can only use guns like the L96's and the PSG1 on Blackops, and the Secondary is of course a pistol. We'll see how it pans out. I think they will bring out a knifing weapon like the ballistic knifes too.

Melee should be like the riot shield...a 2 hit kill. So if you do get panic knifed, you can still win the gun battle. That should be the only change to knifing on top of "no commando".

The way there chainging the knife system is completely different to commando, I think its to reduce by far the amount of panic knifing, and then removing commando removes the lunges :)
