Well I think telling people to "get over" slavery is a bit of a slap in the face. I don't like when blacks use that as an excuse, but the effects of the racism started with slavery are still present in society today. Whites were never killed for being white. There's also Hispanic heritage month, do you have a problem with that? Why would you need white history month? White history is all we learn in high school (European included); you never hear about the history of Asia, even less of Africa.
