everybody who is into music should watch this anime, even if it's not their style, it just has such a great understanding of music, the bit where the alien doesn't understand and he has to explain is so well yet so simply put,

so frustrating the amount of 'musicians' out their who think they're so skilled yet they can't for the life of them grasp that simple concept that defines music from a set pattern of sounds that however skilled, might aswell have less value to the ear as passing traffic

Okay, I've read the comments and I'm like "WHAT?!". I have the box set and they seriously only played two songs, the whole anime was "Cautionary Warning" which is fantastic...then they kept repeating it over and over and over again. And then at the end, they finally play this awesome ballad.

Everytime I think about this anime, I think about all the wasted potential it had. The box art made me yearn for what it didn't supply. I'm always leave feeling gypped.

@TheBlackRabbitX Its amazing with its limitations. Its about a middle age man who gets to relive his dreams in a manner that surpasses his wildest dreams. Really, its great. I can't expect Gabriel Tanaka to fly around, playing a guitar that looks like a portal to another galaxy, with wing of light that shoot lazers by the power of his own rockin style. I can't expect him to be flying by alien spaceships, tearing them with his guitar. The way the anime is, its great, I just expected more.
