@BanisH026 Because the iPhone is a HUGE market with lots of potential, if suddenly everyone get this app on their phone then those carriers can't make the 15 dollars from the tethering. Android has it they can tolerate making half less of that 15 dollars off everyone, if they lose the iPhone market they practically lose the entire market out their for tethering service, since iPhone and Android make up most of the mobile market out there.

You don't have to pay for tethering. You just have to add some settings and you'll be able to tether without any additional cost. It works for me.

@AndyBJ If you want to blame someone blame your carrier. mine allows this "feature" right out of the box no app or extra fee needed. Apple only pulled this because of pressure from the carriers who charge extra for tethering.
