It also provides proof that this movie transcends time! Even the most modern music fits perfectly. It was also surprisingly powerful to watch some of those scenes without hearing the dialogue because you realize how great the acting really was. Bogart and Bergman's eyes and posture tell the whole story!

I love at 4:05, where the line "destiny is calling me" shows Victor approaching Rick! I mean, he IS the symbol of the fight Rick will be taking back up, the destiny that's calling, if you will. Anyways, I just have this affinity for when lyrics and circumstances go so well together!

I think Emerson Hart's song I Wish The Best For You fits this Casablanca really well too, if your the type that accepts Rick's decision as a good one.. I'd love to see a video of it some day *cough* hint *cough* ^_^

um, the voice is harsher. eg. the singer is tired or something and it sounds like it is coming from a long way away. it's also about 25 seconds longer and the guitar riff is different. you know.like this one kinda sounds like a bell whereas the other one is like, i dont know much about guitars, but it's like a um harsher. it's different anyway. i like this version better i think.
