Perfectly pitched. I voted for McCain in 2000 and wished I could have voted for him in 2004. He really was a maverick back then. But the 2008 McCain sold out to the conservative base and picked arguably one of the worst VP picks in history, again selling out to conservatives. John McCain sold us all out and walked away from his maverick ideals. The 2000 McCain would have been disappointed and never voted for him today. Just one more reason I'm voting for Obama.

It's true.
And that's why John McCain is losing. He's always been just a slightly cooler version of these douchebags, and he can't escape that.
