That's a single-reed model...right? I have one--a special--given to me by Frank Hohner of their New York office. Unlike the standard model (which has a low G) mine has a low E, like the double reed model. But it's really too low to be easy playing!
These things are so cool! I just received mine in the mail today! I just have one question, I bought mine from ebay, how loose are the hinges suppose to be?
I just saw one of these advertised by suzuki for the first time and one question demands answer, are the top holes positioned so that you can play them with your nose? :P
@HarmonicaFag : Maybe with all the smiley faces and compliments you're just being nice.. Why is sounding like a jaws harp supposed to be a good thing.... jaws harp's sound horrible. It sounds like a mix between a jaws harp and the australian dijiradoo. I think it sounds bad.... is there a way to have a bass harmonica that doesn't sound like this?
@freezazoid Well I think it depends on what kind of sound do you like. I heard some people playing the bass harmonica and it sounded more like tuba so I guess it depends more on the player than on the instrument itself.
