Bioload to produce skimmate. sometimes your skimmer will completely skim all it can and will produce this gunk around the foam tower instead of the collection cup. It happens to me also. but otherwise your system is great.
your tank is really nice bro. If I may suggest, your powerheads could be placed more towards the back with the fan part facing the front of the aquarium. you can place the heads a bit higher so that you have more surface agitation because you can decrease surface tension and more oxygen can enter and carbon can leave etc. It can also be better for your pH. Look at my second vid and see how I did mines :-). The skimmer seems to be looking fine as far as the setup. But I think you have enough
@Chupidtrini Thanks sir. I just adjusted my powerheads this morning to your recommendations. The fun thing about this hobby is that the learning process is never ending and also that people are so willing to help and suggest advice. Thank you again!
tank is looking good, i myself am just about to upgrade from my 30 to a 72 bow front, check out my tank sometime and subscribe as i will be doing step by step of the new setup....stay tuned
