  • I don't have more than 1 wife :-) in fact, majority of Muslims don't have more than 1

You may be interested in my other uploaded video: watch?v=9c-rQZ9ZgpA

"... the big thing here is not about the number of wifes ... it is about having no sex outside marriage ... So the emphasize is in the contract of marriage. Men in the west can have as many girlfriends, mistresses as he would like, ... but they limit him to only 1 wife"

I'm sure you know the difference of rights between wife and girlfriend

  • @lucy9359 I think a marriage is a contract. The way it is done in the west (like I saw on TV) was that the groom is asked if he will take this woman as his wife love her etc etc ... and the woman is asked the same. That question (and the answer I do), is a contract that he will fulfill his duties and responsibilities (and vice versa).

  • Thank you for finding the word that somehow just slipped my mind. A vow, in fact, is a form of contract.

  • Unless you're one of those Christian who has "It may say that but it doesn't mean that" view of the bible, let me point you to Deuteronomy 24:1 (from NIV) "If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house,".

Unless my English is so bad, the above verse permits divorce.

  • @lucy9359 Ah ... my understanding is that your Bible consists of old testament and new testament and you believe both are the word of God. As a Muslim, I believe in every word in the Qur'an. We can't pick-and-choose what we'd like to believe. I thought you, as Christian, have similar believe. From your comment, apparently, my understanding is incorrect. Thank you for clarifying.

  • @lucy9359 I think we should leave it here as the discussion is starting to divert from the topic of marriage ... Thank you for your clarification of what you believe ...

Matthew 5:17-18 (KJV) "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

It looks like Jewish law should be applicable to Christians.

  • @tukwakga I am a legal proffesor. I watched all of your videos because I recognized you as a strong teacher. I have only one thing to say to you. A great teacher is only the result of teaching what is learned not what is hear-say. Your arguments against Christianity are based on hear-say. It would be unheard of for a muslim to be a brand new convert, teaching the Quaran but you espouse to believing you understand Christianity without study. Have a good day sir. Blessings!

  • @lucy9359 Hey :-) Just uploaded a few other videos about what Islam teach about man-woman relationship. Like you said ... it's better to learn first-hand than having hear-say based opinion. If you don't mind, check out these videos:

    Thanks.

  • @tukwakga You can study fast! I will watch when I have time thanks!

What I actually said was if your a teacher it is nescessary to learn first hand or you disqualify yourself from achieving greatness. It is a principal of integrity. I don't read that from the bible, I learn it from life.

  • @lucy9359 Just out of curiosity ... what sect of Christian are you?

  • @tukwakga I don't believe there should be sects of christians. I don't believe that mormon, jehovah witness or catholic are christian but rather cults, same with the snake handlers. I don't suscribe to any denomination. I am simply a bible believing Christian. As to identifying with any in particular evangilical.

  • @tukwakga WERE NOT DIVED INTO SECTS LOL GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT WE ALL ONE LARGE CHRUCH THE BOODY OF CHRIST

  • @Thamafiaboy My apologies ... it is called denominations .... here's a huge bunch list of them : [wikipedia]/wiki/List_of_Christian_denominations
