I really like that they made​robocop move like a robot all movies through. But who would have won if Murphy fight the T101 in Terminator 1? @psteveable yeah it was a shame that Eddie Furlong couldn't play John Connor because he had problems with drugs. I didn't think Clare Danes' character was any point, she was no Sarah Connor.

There was indeed hardly any violence in Salvation but I kind of like Christian Bale as John Connor. Robocop is the type if guy who will kill if he think it's necessary which sort of makes him an anti hero.

@psteveable yeah Rob Zombie is a good film maker with films like House of a 1000 corpses and the Devils rejects and his remake of Halloween was not too bad.

I've heard they plan to remake Robocop but it seems they'll need to remake Terminator 2 so a younger generation of fans will not mind too much of Arnie not staring in it. Then after those remakes they can make Robocop vs the Terminator.

They need the Terminator to look like Arnie who will not only battle with Robocop but with a horde of Terminators.

@psteveable I would think the story should be that Terminator is sent back in time by John Connor to destroy Robocop because he poses a threat to society in the far future where Skynet will control him. Then Skynet is able to send it's terminators and other weapons to begin and invasion to destroy the human race.

It would still be interesting to see Arnie and Robocop fight as the odds would be even.

@flyguy373 When you're editing, it's easier to get objects in FRONT of other objects....it's when they have to appear behind that presents a challenge.

To get Robocop out of the original footage he was in, though, he would have had to rotoscope out the rest of the scene from Robocop. That probably took a LONG time..... :P

@Lirianus I don't care about the Terminator. I am 32 years old now and I saw Robocop for the first time since I was 10 years old and noticed some great acting and humour! No love scenes, no bullshit either! I watch Robocop everytime I workout and it really gets me moving the weights! I know it sounds crazy, but Robocop is my new motivator and I love the movie! Call it whatever you like, but Robocop is the best movie of the 80s. I don't care what any of the jerk critics say either!
