@bubbaj232 What a fucking moron you are. Why don't you go crawl back into a cave you selfish cock, while the rest of us are advancing humanity and exploring space and research (research that can only be done in 0G for example). You probably think the internet is the "devil", yet you use it everyday. Fuck, I hope you don't breed.
@bubbaj232 Yeah, really. The least they could do for that kind of cash is to fit it with a nuclear tip and add it to the thousands of already standby ready "low cost" nuclear missiles ready at any time to give you a big bang for your buck.
@g0dbel0w lol, i didnt say ALL americans are retarded, i meant only the people shouting and yelling for no reason in this video, srry for upsetting you :(
Yeah, its probably because it was AMERICANS who invented the Space Shuttle and AMERICANS who are riding the space shuttle. You're just jealous because your shitty country has nothing to celebrate about.
The two men behind the camera are speaking Czech (my home language). 1:02 Hele uz to horí! (Look it's burning now!) At 2:25 he says "50,000 gallons in hell!". Anyway impressive vid 5*.
I'm going to the may one too and the closest seats you can get is 7 miles away but it's on NASA property and you have to buy tickets. Other than that you can just park along the highway and have a spectacular view :)
These are the two really great informative websites that I use to get the very latest launch updates, best viewing sites, weather updates, countdown, etc. :

Anybody who hasn't experienced it - it's totally worth it - the nearer the better though for the noise - we watched sts115 from the nasa entrance and it was magnificent - I'd love to go watch it from the nearest point - but you have to buy a ticket before the fact - you can't turn up on the day and get tickets.
Very well shot! It's nice how you setup the camera to view the entire launch sequence so you could observe it visually without having to look through a viewfinder!
tampafloridabeachbum: In an ocean of shaky, blurry, over-zoomed launch videos, this one is nice because you set the camera up well and then left it alone. It gives the true feel of what the launch looked like from Titusville -- where you and we were standing along with 100,000 or so of our closest friends. It's funny how the lady keeps saying how slow everything is. She doesn't realize the distances involved! The boosters fall almost 40 miles and the ship is 100+ miles away. Big Thanks !!
I was going to try to see this launch from the Cape, but it just didn't work out. Then I was going to watch from the beach of NC, but after the last delay, it became too late and the weather too poor for it to be possible to see from NC. :( I'm pretty sure I'll be down for STS-125, though.

Nice upload, there, but why did you unfocus the camera right at the point of launch? Launch shot fail. Still pretty, mostly.
