Sounds bored, uninspired, flat. From everything I've seen/heard of them, it appears that a lot more effort goes into their clothing than the music.

If you pause the video at 1:31, the look on her face screams, "what am i supposed to be doing again?" It seems like there are 3 or 4 people actually contributing, and 3 or 4 looking confused.

H-Y-P-E!! This was like their concert I saw; bad rythm, out of tune singing, sometimes OK songs. If only they'd put half the time spent playing dress up into practicing! but the singing woul still be affected! Too bad...

I think you have to take the style & emotion of the song into account. It's a native american dirge.

Dirge? But it seems more awkward and unsure then mournful right? Maybe its charming like when you watch a childrens talent show on the telly. But if this were 6, fat, 36 year old, native american men wearing oversize pants and t-shirts, no one would care. Instead of 'inspired dodginess' everyone would say it wasn't so great.
