The show is amazing and Paul was an incredible actor..They all were but Paul did an excellent job and "the lead"..Certainly the top 3 best pieces of theater I have ever seen..want to go again
Saw it today in NYC. Brilliant. Without question among the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Returned from my 13 months in Iraq in JAN 07. This show is spot-on.
I live with the guy who plays Macca, so i may be bias, but i also wrote my diss on physical theatre....It used to take me a long time to explain my fav genre of theatre....not i just have to say "Watch Black Watch".
Went to watch the play last week at the Barbican... Fantastic.. Acting was topline and the story well presented a must watch.
The bit with paper made me laugh - we used walk around Rosyth dockyard with a clipboard and a sharp pencil no officer dare come near you... Letters that hit a nerve, man when you got your mail on board you would get lost in the letter and go through every emotion reading and re-reading your mail from home..
Yes, I`m not a theater goer, but the theater came to me. One of the most riveting, well executed, honest and moving pieces of TV I seen in some time. Its this kind of production that deserves a wider audience, thats for sure.
Amazing! Simply amazing

One of the greatest plays I have ever seen. I don't have a favourite, though this would win it.
