@lPod1234 Ser is also another way to say sir. I'm not entirely sure but I think the reasoning behind it is because Ser is an old variant of sir. So you could kind of see it as an ancient way, or for someone who has been knighted. Some people believe it's used in formal context. There's a lot of different beliefs for the word, but I don't think anybody truly knows. Either way, it's still a correct way to say it, but nobody understands why.

When they transerfed FFT to English for the PS1, they changed the whole structure of text, since it was a bit too old english and afraid no one could understand. They also changed names. Algus was really Agrath I believe. So Teta was probably really Tietra and they changed it back to the original for the PSP.

Although the PSP remake is the "correct" one, The way the character talked made half the story, same as the names go. I did find it a shame that they changed quite a few names. When the name "Northen Sky" came up i wasen't sure if they ment the Hokuten or not at first.

Typos would be an understatement. Heck they had 2 or 3 spellings for a single character. Also, do you remember how "Bracelet" were interchanged with "Breath" for some attacks and items? I have to admit, the accurate names do sound stranger now then they already did before. Also, there is still a debate towards some of the games events such as the ending, and some of the reasons are due to the mistranslation... but despite it all I love this game to no end.

there was no way except using cheat devices. A shame he doesn't have the cooler abilities, just two unique skills he can learn. Still, he was one of the best Final Fantasy Protaganists, mostly because he was a flawed non-emo hero.
