  • very impressed....Love love you guys....awesome muscians and vocalist....want more...I am from BC canada that well, people are losing this music and it brakes my heart...we need more. Thanks to you and little banjo girl there,,.,,my ten year old daughter wants to learn this. Thank you. keep on playing and singing and dont let this music die.

  • @bimbld This was a good jam session. I enjoyed joining in. I don't think bluegrass (and bluegrass gospel) will ever die out! I surely hope not! Good for your 10 year old!

  • weres the black people man.

  • Aside from Ricky Skaggs, this is BY FAR the best rendition of this song I've ever heard. And to think you're outside just jamming is even better. I would love to hear this in a studio. You guys are simply amazing and naturally talented.... And to the lead singer-- you have one heck of a bluegrass voice. Thank you for this video and God Bless you all!

  • @axledobe Thank you so much! What a nice compliment. This is just a jam session, none of us are in the same band. Come from all over the southeast.

  • Good stuff!

  • thank you from england......fantastic!!!

  • You are very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed listening/watching.

  • Yes, that is him. Thank you for all your trouble.....

  • You're welcome. I like to have the names so they get credit for their talent.

  • Thanks for posting this. Just wanted to let you know the boy beside Katie with the MC cap on is DJ Underwood, a student at MC. His dad and I were thrilled to get to see this! Thanks again

  • Thanks! Is he the one playing the guitar?

It's kind of hard to read what's on his cap.

  • Yes,to the guitar. The cap is burgandy in front and white. (well, what used to be white!) Thanks again...

  • Is he playing the mandolin?? And standing between me & Adam?

  • i love it...

my cousins think im weird for liking bluegrass

esp. since im from the caribbean but this was very nice

  • Glad you do. Doubt you get much bluegrass there, huh?

  • Great songs. Best version I ever heard of "crying holy" was by the Del McCoury band, but this is right up there with that.

  • Thanks for the nice comment. Don has a really good voice! I'm sure we're all flattered to be compared with Del McCoury!!

  • I could watch this over and over. Love it.

  • Thanks. It was really fun to sing with these guys. That;s the fun with going to Townsend, you just walk around and there are impromptu groups that you can just join in with.
