about the drummer, i know he is good i've heard him playing so many times perfectly so the reason why the bass drum sounds shitty is probably because of the threshold of the trigger module not being set properly,

i've experienced this trigger sensibility problem many times ... some signals get filtered and they just wont be heard, the result is that no sense bassdrum.

even if this wasnt the problem, is not logic to judge a person after one attempt.

you clearly dont understand what 'triggers' do, so i shall explain, even though it should be common knowledge by now.... they 'trigger' another sound. the actual bass drum is then not mic'ed up (defeats the point)and a particular sound, (in this case a bass drum sample) is activated when the beater hits the head. in this case the bass drum level through the monitors just sounds too loud/trebley, and nick clearly wasnt on his best form that day. but yeah. still such an awesome band
