if we had a decent reliever for 06-08, other than wagner, we would have had AT LEAST one world sereis title...most likely in 06 but possibly more with that great lineup we had...but our dumbass gm thought our team was good enough and that we had wagner and that was enough....hopefully alderson will not make the same mistakes
@BigBluenym actually the bullpen was pretty good in 06. remember we had solid years from feliciano, bradford, and oliver in addition to wagner, and heilman was still ok. our offense just disappeared against st. louis, otherwise you know we could have beaten the tigers. i blame omar for letting guys like bradford and oliver go while holding onto the likes of 41 year old julio franco.

@jlzumpano You should have been praying, like I was as a little one back in 1986 right before their rally in game 6, you just didn't think that a road team with a pitcher named Wainwright could silence the Mets and their all star in one of the biggest games ever in Mets history.
