And you can tell it is a tearful goodbye. Whitney, however, put TOO much power into her's. I believe. Everyone has their unique voice, thou. I believe her version also went number 1. buuuuut Whitney Houston got so many hits off it, that it just gave Dolly over 3 million dollars. Since it's her song. But all three ladies did a wonderful job even Carrie Underwood did when she sang it as a duet with Dolly on her Christmas special :)

Dolly's version is amazing because she wrote and performed this from the heart. LeAnn's is amazing just considering the fact that she was SO YOUNG when she did it. and of course Whitney's version is amazing because of how much soul and power that voice had.
