  • Cool

  • Michael Mauboussin?

  • The title "Think Twice" is fitted for the topic it discusses. Decision-making breaks or makes a business.

  • What does he do when his information is not 'perfect' and in fact, flawed. His idea of counterintuition fails miserably. Not useful in real world situations.

  • very little valuable content that Michael is pushing. most everything he is talking about are averages, planning with representative probabilities (based on perfect information), and experts that are in fact, not experts. an expert doesn't expose his/her own views, they analyze a sample set....seems like a bunch of words relabeled as trigger words in order to snare the viewer and/or reader into "new concepts."

  • premortem, now this is a tool that you can start using right away!

  • Premorten = scenario planning

  • a an average mind with a dull little pencil is worth more than a bright mind who relies on memory
