well you just simplified skiing to standing on 2 sticks...so i just wanted to explain that snowboarding can be over-simplified as well. Both sports are difficult and its impossible to quantify which one is harder.

i do both dude and it took me like a  good 8-10 hours before i got the concept of carving down, skiing clicked really easy because you get a quicker sense of balance...

1. Warren Miller left WME 6 years ago because the man who FOUNDED the company was disgusted with the way they were going. That should tell you something.

2. While loly0pop0man's comment was rude, WME (who made 5 million in 2008) Level 1 Productions (who made less than 100,000) because Warren did a voice over for their new film.

So by disagreeing with loly0pop0man you are also disagreeing with Warren Miller, one of the best ski film makers of all time. Thats my two cents on the issue.
