  • I have this as well, Worst pain ever.

  • I have it and I'm only a teenager. I mean I just want to go out to mcdonalds with my friends and just teat what I want but I can't. It just feels like I'm trapped.

  • your not alone.. ive had this ibs like 2years (after i met my gf, lol) and cant find any cure for it.. life sucks and cant do anything that id like to do..

  • I'm sure this disease is quite hard to live with, but I find it pretty goddamn hilarious, I mean c'mon, poop.

  • @demonicspire1 i dont find anything Hilarious Stupid Prick.

  • @Mr1playboy13 iunno, it seems pretty damn funny. What with the poop and all.

  • Also cut out carbonated drinks, this leads to gas buildup

  • I am a disabled combat veterian and I suffer from crippling IBS. The 1 and only thing that has helped has been to become vegan. I have gone 2 months, yes that's right a FULL 2 months with ZERO flareups. I strongly encourage you to do this diet. It has literally saved my life.

  • I can understand your plight. The frustration of not being able to do normal things just incase. Thanks for your blog, it was very incouraging to know i am not the only person who suffers.

  • I know how you feel I'm only 17, and I have had IBS for as long as I can remember. Within the past few months, it has worsened. I hate going out any where knowing I will constantly be running to the bathroom. Not knowing where the closest bathroom is. I hate even taking my girlfriend out on dates just because it has gotten so bad.

  • I am 18 and struggling with IBS, I was recently diagnosed and find that I am already being affected with this phsycologial problem, I have spent my whole life preparing for Sandhurst officer training and now find out that I cannot go, they tell me to manage my stress levels and keep them down, but how can I when I am scared about what to do with my life now, I just don't know what to do, and wuld love some advice. Thanks.

  • @LORDRUBEROID

    good luck man

  • Your in my prayers.. It's a journey. God will get the glory.

  • @5822huron Thank you :o)

  • i think i have ibs but im not sure, i did have episodes of diarhea and constipation in the past but not that serious. my bowel movement are fine now and i defecate once everyday to normal stools. and the only significant problem that i have is GAS issues. i fart and belch all the time and thats only it. i also go to the gym and take protein supplements and it sometimes upsets my tummy when i drink it on an empty stomach but it worked for me. i gained muscle even with my condition. im only 21.

  • I'm 18 and the last week I've been feeling constipated everytime I go to the loo I don't feel like I've emptied my bowels, no diherrea though. I've had small stomach cramps and I've been really stressed out and over thinking things and I'm worried I've triggered this off. What also scares me is that I go to gym a lot and what I eat plays a big role in building my muscle, I'm scared if I do have ibs will I lose weight and muscle?

  • @jSVioLeNT Are you taking protien supplements? I found they seriously affected my stomach

  • cont'd part 3. I have tried different probiotics but alot of them are not of good quality and made my symptoms worse. Long story short two years ago I was a very healthy individual who weight 140 lbs now i am 110lbs. I look back and think my life was a dream this has cost me friends and family but as of right I just deal with it. sorry for the long post by the way. PS: two of the antidepressant gave me some of the worst side effects next two the antibiotics I didn't know which was worse.

  • cont'd. It all started oct. 25th '09 I had signs and symptoms of a bladder infection I didn't do anything about it till oct.29th I just thought it would go away. went to a walk in clinic and got prescribed Macrobid an antibiotic was told to take it twice a day with meals. each successive day I felt horrible. untill finally woke up nov 1st '09 with some of the worst abdominal pains in my life. went to the ER was told to walk it off, I didn't eat much after that for 5 days. since then.

  • coming up on the oct 29th 2011 will be the two year anniversary since my hell started. To make a long story short I have Ibs but mine is pain specific and not like yours where I need two use the washroom for number 2. I always have this abdominal tightness in my mid section even without eating. Now i will say to all those who ask yes I have done many tests including bloodtests even for celiac. since. I have had two xrays and an endoscope now doctors just say take an antidepressant.

  • A lot of people who think they have IBS may in fact not. Celiac Disease is often misdiagnosed as IBS. I myself was misdiagnosed with IBS for a little over 5 YEARS before I was properly diagnosed with Celiac. I feel better now that I'm gluten free. So it's a possibility. AND keep in mind that just because you may test negative once for Celiac doesn't mean you don't have it or some kind of gluten intolerance, you may need to get tested twice. So just something to keep in mind, talk to your Doctor.

  • The things that have worked best for me are: the probiotic Bachillus coagulans and Yoga...try! tap in Yoga and IBS and theres a great excersize where you suck in your whole tummy...it makes the whole gut area so much stronger and really helps

  • i have IBS too .. have a nice day!

  • i shit 5 times a day. So.... i read alot >8 )

  • just some thing that may be worth looking at is bile acid/salt diarrhea. google it.

  • Exactly my simptoms , exactly the way i dealing with IBS, amazing :) .. and no ure not alone :))

  • do you know if it will go away if you eliminate the triggers? I find my symptoms have disappeared for about two weeks now that i have eliminated meat and dairy products.Ps i know what you mean about doing things, every time i travel i get sick for the first week ruined my trip to paris last year.

  • i have IBS and im only 15. I just got diagnosed (spell?) with it a month ago and i have been getting lots of pain for like four months. the pain would get so bad i would start throwing up and nauseaness. I really want to live "normal" again. i cry myself to sleep cuz im scared of what it is cause im not sure what exactly it is and how to help it.

  • Your site is wonderful! :) I had just subscribed to your newsletter! :)

  • @terceldude Thanks :o) Haven't done a newsletter for a while, but hope to soon.

  • Those fruit smoothies from Bolthouse seem to also do the trick as they have oodles of fiber in them! :)

  • I have this exact problem! I'm 15 and i wish i could use your answer (buy a motor) to cure my problem but i can't :( PLEASE! if you have any other answers please get in touch i'm struggling. My email address is amy_lou_elliott@yahoo.co.uk I'm currently going to councelling but it isn't helping as much as i would like. Mine is also caused by anxiety and i can't travel anywhere. It has came to the point where i had to quit my hobby, don't go out with my friends and regret it everytime. Help!

  • @36Amyy Sorry to hear what you are going through. Have a look at my IBS website - there is a ton of info there including some podcasts I do with other IBS sufferers. If you want to know anything, we answer questions on the podcast series and there is a podcast question form you can use to contact us.

  • @36Amyy have u ever tried Homeopath or bio chemic treatment? they can cure IBS permanently, believe me! try Natrum Phos 6x; 3 tabs immediately after meal thrice a day. and if u r having diarrhea alternating with constipation, then take KALI. MUR. 6x, 3 tabs 30 mins before/after meal trice a day. but it'd be best if u consult a good homeopath doc 1st. this is sad to see IBS is considered to be incurable!?! this is so not true! can tell you from my personal experience!

  • I've had anxiety since I was 8. It worsen after I graduates high shook and developed IBS. It's horrible! I panic when my stomach starts rumbling. Just because I'm still not 100% convinced it's ibs. -_- im hypochondriac too. I can't have an argument with my bf or els the symptoms hit worst!

  • fomap diet? watt wil it do , plz give some more information

  • i also suffer from ibs.....its a horrible syndrom i would not wish upon anyone ...i feel ur pain and concern ....

  • @krystallove100 try fodmap diet you will feel alot better

  • Has anyone tried probiotics? Personally, I had a tremendous amount of success with that and getting off dairy. It almost fully reversed a severe case of acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) for me. I also had A LOT of success recently reducing IBS using a hard to find Specific-Frequency-Microcurrent-Device I got from a chiropractor. I find that MDs will generally not discuss any natural remedies that treat the CAUSE of health problems. They instead often endlessly treat the symptoms.

  • @TheMedicalMafia if u have ibs try the fodmap diet

  • i Fell your pain i went through wat yuh went threw i cant leave my house :( its a lonq story

  • I guess I just wear diapers usually to help myself with this and sometimes alot of water and fiber helps me! :)

  • is it normal to all most vommit with irritable bowl syndrome

  • Dude.. you don understand what happen to you i guess.. I also have IBS. It begin 20 years ago..And i have learned to understand about it.. You should learn to know what food or fruits is bad for you lo... I understand what you are saying it happen to me too. Some tips.. oranges and anything made from milk is bad as i know.. Vegetables is good for me and you should look into it. So is papaya is also good for me. cheers from Singapore.

  • Why does a search for "Habba Sydrome" bring me to this video? The video has nothing to do with Doctor Saad Habba's treatment for IBS.

  • @b5b9 I believe i've got an article about Habbas syndrome on the website (link in the notes) - use the website search bar to find it :o)

  • @rickvanman I just got it 2 weeks ago. and i just want to get rid of it as fast as possible.. ! Plz help me.

  • @SBEJL go to a heal diet ppl and ask them about a fodmap diet

  • Try probiotics. I've been pooping normal, once a day since taking them

  • Thankfully for the most part my IBS seems to have cleared up a little bit.

I have a van and a car and since watching this video a week ago I've kept a portable camping toilet in the back of both so I can travel again.

    I can't thank you enough!

  • @WillThePlank Glad the suggestion helped. :o)

  • @rickvanman if u are having problems with ibs try the fodmap diet basicly what the fodmap diet is cutting out sugar and fructose for a while to let your stomach heal there are like 5 different food group and u basicly are allegric to one i think i am explaining it well ive been on the fodmap diet for 4 weeks week 1 i was on 7-9/10 pain

at week 4 i am at 3-4 also i suggest getting metamucil hope this helps

  • I have this too and I just can't seem to control it! I don't seem to have trigger foods, I have trigger moods. :( No matter how much I try to not get nervous whenever I go somwhere, I always do and this brings on the IBS. It's a vicious circle of worrying how the IBS will act when I go out, IBS happening because I'm so tense and then getting myself into an awful state. I'm 18 so I really hope I sort myself out soon enough. I've already lost a job over it. ><

  • @BridgetPerdue i hate it every morning im worring incase i have to go when im at school

  • @xToXiicxT3RRoRx me too. I also have lactose problems and maybe gluten. But bloating is more of my problem.

  • @SuperGoldenmoon gluten thingy is kinda part of ibs i beleave

  • @SuperGoldenmoon gluten thingy is kinda part of ibs i beleave and also do fomap diet

  • @BridgetPerdue can you vommit with it i get vramps werid white stuff inmy stool vommiting some times and i feel werid in my stomich. i can controle my self when vommitting

  • i have the illness myself and can relate to the mental side of it.currently on loperamide capsules at the moment which help although at 30years old the thought of being on them for the rest of my life doesnt appeal to me lol.its amazing how many people have a form of this.one thing i have found helps is to not keep it to yourself, i tell all my mates and they are people are more understanding when you need to dash to the loo.

  • you can uncondition yourself by wearing depends (adult diapers). i know, it sounds embarrassing but it works. wearing depends puts your mind at ease. try it for a month or two, you'll be surprised with the results.

  • You're not alone at all. 20% of America suffers from this. I'm only 17 and I've had this condition for 8 years. I tried to fix my diet, and I don't touch junk food or caffiene. I can't eat anything spicy or too sour. Nor drink much soda or have chocolate. I had my worst bout during a fever, after being up for 26 hours, I was directing a scohol festival and making all the plans, and I'm totally inteolerable to spicy food. So it's your sleep, health, foods and stress really. Most importantly food.

  • I have suffered from IBS for 9 years, its got really bad over the past 2-3 years. Its actually got to the stage now where i can't go anywhere without knowing where the toilet facilities are,i go to the toilet about 4-5 times before even leaving the house. Luckily my partner is very understanding as it must be frustrating for him to wait about on me all the time before we can go anywhere. Not a nice thing to live with at all.

  • See, this is the thing about IBS.

It starts off manageable, but still disrupting. Very unpredictable.

So we begin to fear an attack happening any time of the day.

This causes them to happen more and more frequently.

It becomes psychological, but we can't make ourselves stop fearing the random attacks now that we know they can happy anytime, anywhere. And this makes our IBS much much worse. But I don't know how to stop the fear.

The fear is what makes it that much worse than it already is.

  • @IndustrialKitt3n Exactly! :( I get emotional just reading this and knowing I'm not the only person in the world like this.

  • hi! please read my comment! I made a video response to your video to help get the things I go through with IBS off of my cheat. Please watch it. Thank you!

  • I got the same problem and I am still in school it is very bad but the thing that helps me is loperamide it is a tablet or capsule and it does help a little

  • @azeemiscool i take that too. It also helped me.

  • I just wanted to tell you I really know what your going through. If I dont have a restroom were I know I can get to, my stomach usually goes crazy. My husband is understanding but its frustrating to always have to stop at a restroom.I enjoy photgraphy but I cant go to places that do not have a restroom near by.I really wish you the best of luck cause in my opinion ibs is the devil!!!!

  • i get diarrhea for 4 weeks.. my tests are all clear. no bacteria or something. yes is IBS. i had it before but this time, it is sucking my blood.. i have no energy, happiness, ... i dont know what am i suppose to do. and im thinking it is not about what i eat. i dont believe it. it is happining. thats all. if i get stress it happens to me. and i wonder something private. is there any person got IBS with a nice sexual life ? please write. im not ok.

  • @cios106 you can message me.

  • I too have to alter my lifestyle rt eating and going outdoors. The conditioning is inherent with the diet. Evidence Based Science has proven that nerves in the bowels are hypersensitive. I decided that I would not let this disease win me over. Now I carry a pot from a port a potty with water to clean. Now that I am doing that I have control and you would be surprised that when I travel I have less urges. Now I tried Kambuka 8 weeks ago and I have really been able to have more control.

  • Rick I my self am dealing with a chronic lazy intestines, but im getting better, if you would liketo read my story go to

  • I have IBS. im fifteen. my dad had it. and now i have it. it sucks. my stomach kills all the time. im affraid to go out. whenever i go to shows and concerts i have to be constently aware. and im nervous this will continue for the rest of my life

  • @FilmerStatus Take steps to track down your triggers. For many people, including me, it's dairy products like milk. Cut them out completely from your diet for a while and see if things improve.

  • @rickvanman ill try that

  • I'm not sure if I got IBS but every morning when I eat or drink milk I have to go to the bathroom. And I usually have that burning sensation when Im done. Is that a sign of IBS?

  • @EarthWarZone Not sure, does it happen if you don't drink milk?

  • @rickvanman I stopped drinking milk but It still happens and I only get diarrhea in the mornings so I'm not sure If I get diarrhea from last nights food or the morning ones. btw I'm eating vegetables now but I still get diarrhea.

  • @EarthWarZone probably from something you ate the previous day. Keep a food diary so you have a record of everything you have eaten, then, one item at a time, stop eating things on the list if you are bad the next day. hopefully you'll be able to figure out what triggers the problems.

  • @rickvanman I will Thanks!

  • @rickvanman I have this feeling in my intestines and tummy.. feels like the system is going to crash.. had this feeling for about 2.5 years now.. any idea?my parents says its Ibs but i dont believe it is.

  • @EarthWarZone I agree. it could be the foods you are eating. If you would like, message me and I can talk to you about it.

  • @EarthWarZone its all trial and error keep note of what u r eating process of elimination NOT all veggies are good for IBS many trigger like too much brocccoli - u cut out milk ? even butter/margerine/cooking oil stay away from grease fat

  • @hypnomancer oh yeah Im very knowledged in all this It just sucks - and I love drinkn beer :( big time trigger oh well such as life

  • @EarthWarZone If you drink or eat something then get sick.. thats not ibs then your're allergic to milk. the burning sensation is the normal cause of diarrhea.

  • @olfan92 cilliacs disease also causes vomiting sickness

  • @hypnomancer yup it does

  • @EarthWarZone u could be lactose intolerant which doesnt mean u have ibs try some lactaid pills

  • @hypnomancer u can be lactose intolerant and hav ibs. that's what i hav

  • @hypnomancer oh I ve quite familiar with my body if I just had loctose intolerance I d be happy ... I defenitely have IBS no question about it

  • try barely max. works for me..

  • Since you've cured your IBS, do you still eat the foods that you've avoided before?

  • @19Slim68 there is no cure

  • is that IBS if your system cannot easily adjust to type of water you've drink??

  • @MrDesperateArtist not sure.

  • I keep my symptoms to zero with sodium bromide. Its usually sold in pool and spa shops but it works.I take 1 tsp in water and in about 15 minutes the muscles start relaxing. They used to sell it as bromo-seltzer but they stopped using it in the 70's because it can be toxic if you take too much.

  • I have IBS. It is pretty embarassing.

Whenever I tell people that I have it, they think that I just "poo alot"...

That's not even close... you know?

I missed half of the days in high school.

I can't go anywhere out of the house unless I get ready all day, so I Can only go somewhere close at night.

I can't work. I am 18 years old. My parents are mad at me for not having a job, but I don't know what else to do. I've tried dieting and everything. Nothing works.

  • @IFeelYourRain Sorry to hear what you're going through. Here's a tip I recently discovered - cut out milk from your diet. I recently did this and my physical IBS problems almost completely went away.

  • @IFeelYourRain Cutting out Milk was the best decision I made. Being Lactose Intolerant has almost the same effect as IBS. Take out all Milk products, Spicy food, Caffeine, Greasy Food and you will feel a lot better. Try having yogourt twice a day or taking Probiotic Capsules. My God... you have no idea how much probitics help...

IBS will never go away. But your Diet is at least 50% of the problem. The rest is physcholigcal or just plain old random and unpredictable. Good luck!

  • I have ibs too, and it affects my life more than I like. Luckily I found a doc who really cares and helps me, so my life is sort of normal sometimes. I can totally relate to your story about the safe zones. Fo me, the pain is worse than the bathroom need, which is not an advantage at all.

Can I link your video to a German ibs forum (the guys helped me A LOT!)?

  • @Schmidt54 @scalymanfish2 Hi great to hear you have a good doc - they seem quite rare these days!

Sure thing - feel free to link the video :o)

  • I’m not keen on taking medication but these have helped to ease my anxiety big time. I would definitely recommend colofac or buscopan (talk to your GP about these). I know it's maybe not ideal taking medication but for the mental side of things it gets you back in control of the situation and stops the IBS from controlling you. OK I'm finished now! :)

  • Since being on these I've felt like a new person! I too had the same as you... anxiety about leaving the house and going places in case I needed the loo, feeling very uncomfortable if I was going to a new place and having to explain myself if I needed to dash off in the middle of something. But since taking the colofac (this is an anti spasmotic drug which regulates the movement of intestines back to how they’re meant to be) I no longer feel as anxious.

  • cont - I think that this was the cause of the IBS now).

A year later my symptoms started... stomach cramps and needing to rush to the loo four or five times a day and on good days I’d still have random bouts of diarrhoea. I cut out gluten for about 3 months and it eased it to some extent. I've recently started to take colofac (meberverine hydrochloride) which my GP prescribed as the random toilet issues started to come back and I have exams now so I needed a quick fix.

  • Hi Rick, Just seen you're video. I think years ago I would have found talking about my toilet habits to a complete stranger very weird indeed but now I'm used to it! lol! Basically, I've recently been told I probably have IBS after a year of toilet troubles. I had a bad bout of food poisoning about 2 years ago (I needed the loo desperately but had to hang on for about 40 mins before I could go as I was on a toiletless boat in the middle of the sea.

  • Hm .. unfortunately, not all of us can afford a van. I'm 19, I've got it, and I can't even fathom how I'd be able to get a job, let alone keep one down. It's really ruined my life before it's even begun.

  • all true- every journey should be planned..i love to travel and go out with friends but had to decline most of the time coz im worried about my condition. Sometimes I ask God what did I do to have this condition but I know He will always be tehre to help. This disease seems to control my life. Im afraid to fly on planes for fear of having IBS attacks, i fear goin on meetings, presentations as im thinking I would have attacks..

  • I'm 14 and I've had it since 5th grade cut they put me on a prescription laxitive thing and it helps alot and I do monthly cleanses

  • Yes I have irritable bowl but the worst part is that I am a truck driver and when I found out I had irritable bowl I had to spend about £500 to get a toilet fitted in my truck and it is terrible becuase every time I am driving, I would have to pull over around about 6 or 7 times an hour just to go to the toilet and it was terrible. I just wish it would go.

  • Wow. Every single word you said could be used to describe my life exactly lol. Kind of freaky. Thanks for all your vids. I've been thinking about customizing a van of my own ... it's cool to know I'm not the only one out there lol.

  • i was diagnose in 2002 and im only 15 i hate IBS so badd :(

  • just to update, i see on your blog you mentioned you at eggs. was that the full egg? what about cereal's and things like that? i know a few people have issues with such. there is also the question of cooked vegetables vs raw etc.

  • I do not seperate the whites from the yolks and eat whole eggs. I can't say I have ever tried to compare raw vs cooked veg - might be worth running an experiment of your own, as IBS is a very individual thing and it's different for everyone.

  • you went all vegetables? what about protein? fish or eggs? in a way this isn't far off from the advice Paul Bragg's would be given years and years ago which Jack Lalane followed for a long while.

  • wow..I'm at the stage that I'm terrified to go out of house...it's totally messed up cuz as u said i probably won't need the bathroom.

I hope i get over this since this is not the first time that I'm facing IBS but a major part of it is psychological. My other fear is not having my Imodium pills with me...you have no idea i freak out if i forget them. It's funny how for all these years i didn't know this actually is an illness until i was diagnosed with it.

  • i was diagnose a little over 5 months a go i could not travel couldent go anyware with friends or evan school the only place i felt comfertible was home but here is ho i learned to control it take metimusil it takes a wile to get used to but it help find triger foods dont eat them take bental or dicyclomine thas how ido but flare ups r enevitable i just had a flare today when i do it seems to help if i ice my lower left stomach drink lots of ice water take zantac or gas ex thats all i can find.

  • I'm only 15 and I've had ibs since I was 12.. Really is miserable I missed so many days in 6th grade I got held back but last night I ate brownies and then woke up with bad stomach cramps and diahrea for the WHOLE day and none of my medications worked

  • It has a lot to do with what you eat. If you can figure out your trigger foods, and then avoid them, you will be well on the way to controling this annoying issue. Have a look at the link in the notes area - there is some really useful info there.

  • @Project8skater Month old comment, but I thought I'd reply. I notice you're a skater, by your name. I skate too, we relate. I'm 15 also, and I've had IBS since I was young. I miss a lot of school, so you are not the only one. Whenever I'm home, I feel fine. I go to school or leave the house, I've got diarrhea, or I'm sick as hell. I've also got food allergies too, including dairy and gluten.

  • @Project8skater could you not have went to the toilet at school

  • I have IBS for 4 years and i am still tring to figure out how to get rid of it it is also controling my life i dont even have breakfast any more.

  • Hi!

I've Just uploaded a new artice and podcast to the IBS website describing how I managed to cure myself of IBS for one full month - might be worth a look!

  • I have IBS and a few years ago it did have an impact on my life until I took control of it and learned what a trigger what foods set it off. This literally has made things better. Keep a journal and right down what foods irritate it. Trust me, this has done wonders for me!!! I know what it is like to live with IBS and i discovered that you can either let IBS control you or you can control it! I chose to control it. This doesn't ean that I don't have flare ups, but my life is a lot better now!!

  • I´ve had IBS since the summer of 2006. It completely ruined my life and I wake up every singel morning with pain and this extremely discomforting feeling in the abdomen. Like there is a huge baloon inside me that keeps growing and growing. This feeling keeps on getting worse until I eventually get to "go to the bathroom", wich is something I can never tell whenever it gonna happen. I would be fine with it if it were just a couple of days in a month but it is EVERY SINGLE DAY! :(

  • I've had IBS since i was 13 and it really ruined my life. Now thankfully i manged to regain control and live a great life mainly due to change in diet and attitude.I cut out milk and eggs for 3-4 years.I totally agree with you on what it does to you mentally i think in a way it's actually half of the disease in a way because not only do you have to regain control of your body again but also your mind. However it is possible! and it's great to see people like you who are living proof well done:)

  • Medical Cannibis is afford for patients with IBS. Please check that out for help.

  • i have it im 14 years old and ive been taking percocet 10/500 daily and oxycontin 80 mg for flare ups and i really didnt want to start taking them pain killers but after i started taking them all my broblems solved but before it was making my life hell and now im back active and can do stuff a kid does

  • Have you thought about Medical Cannabis for your IBS? Just thought Id let you know that could help. It would be a lot safer than those strong pain killers. Noo means to offend you or anything Just thought id pass on a message that could help you out.

  • yea ill look in too it thank you for telling me know

  • im so glad i come across this video! i have been exactly the same about needing to know theres a bathroom near by and suffer from panic attacks, im in uni at the moment and cant eat the whole time i am there incase my food causes an attack... not healthy i know! ibs is awful

  • yeah it sucks especially when you get worried and stressed that is when i usually get it and i can never sleep i find sometimes ice packs hellp and just thinking things over but if its really bad nothing helps i wish there was something that would cure it.

  • i hav ibs and this is f.king retarded, instead of getting rid of your paranoia and stress which is why it happens cause stress changes biological structure try san pedro catus or ayauascha and see what the real problem is, bloody stupid got med anti spodmotics and anti stress and anti diarehaa with you and eat well bigger meals the better actually.

  • I've had IBS since 2001. Im the same Exact way you said you were a few years ago. Nothing has helped me either, as far as medication. Im still in High school, I leave to school at 7 and I get up at 4:15 to deal with my stomach. THIS VIDEO IS CRAZY! Im typing while watching, And now your talking about Motor homes!!! I've thought about that SOOOO much. anyway type back

  • i think ibs is very much diet related becuase when i have too much sugar or fatty meals my farts smell very unpleasant i find that excersise and more fibre helps and reduces gas becuase a heavy carb diet induces bloating which causes an excess of gas that invetiably has to be released

  • Try massing your thighs in forward motions with two fingers.

Also you can repate the words o-mi-fo -tu with a really deep voice like the munks to get things moving.

We also have actupunture points that we can press with our fingers on our cheeks, ears, hands and feets that fixes the condtion.

Fiber is also good, like all know.

  • Great and honest video! :) We should all SUE the society cos of high stress levels.

  • WAIT!! I just read that "aloe causes faster and stronger contractions of the colon - something that people with IBS are already overly prone to, and which can cause violent abdominal cramps, painful spasms, and diarrhea" and colon cancer!! OMG is that true?! O.O

  • Aloe is classified by the FDA as a Class 1 harsh stimulant laxative!

  • Yes, ppl don't understand our disease. It started when I was 15. But now - I'm almost cure! I'm just on restricted diet. NO gluten, dairy (everything: cheese, milk, yoghurt), eggs. Plus no: sweets/sugar, fat, food preservative, monosodium glutinate and everything fry-up and marinade (meat and fishes), salmon & trout and I also don't use a lot of salt and pepper. Instead of sugar I use fructose (but only if I really have to). I hope it's not temporary. Angelmom - i'm gonna try aloe vera also.

  • just out of curiosity - what are you permitted to eat on this restrictd diet?

  • well I'm eating special bread (gluten, eggs, milk free) and some special food pastes (that are also soya free) and of course vegetables. Anyways foget what I wrote. Today I had hell of a stress and guess what: I had diarrhoea and some f*cking noises, rambling and other loud stuff in in bowels!!! Jeeez...I can feel right now vibration in my bowel. Now I know - this is all because of my stressing life!!

Life sucks! I'm officialy tired of this sh*t!!

  • In that case, you definitely need to see my article on how to beat IBS related stress and anxiety - I've added a link in the notes area for you.

  • Thank you Rick :* I've just read that. I gotta say..I'm gonna try meditation. Right now I'm learning how to "breath" - 'cause I was usually breathing by mouth - now I'm breathing ONLY by my nose - I believe that my bowels-rumbling gonna disappear :D Yeah... I don't think so...I'm such a looser ;) Anyways.. I'm praying to God so those noises would disappear - but... they still are.

  • Ya I have had it for many many years now and im only 22. Im on some meds for it but it sucks because all of the triggers affect me. I gave up caffine and try stuff, but I can never give it all up. I love junk food and suger and such but I am slowly having to give it up. It seems to always get worse for me toward night and does affect my life. Ya it sucks and most dont understand how I could feel sick all the time. Just my 2 cents.

  • Have you tried to increas your fiber intake?

  • Also, fresh ginger root, juiced out is very good for the digestion!

  • true true,... garlic and fenugreek seeds [soaked in water overnight drink the liquid in the morning] are good too.

keep of dairy as much as poss, go for sheep milk or goat milk/cheese if you have to, black pepper 'teas' for gas, plenty of herbal teas /fruit teas..try loads one will suit, twinnings do some half decent ones, get some clipper organic green and white teas , drink regularly, flax seeds on a regular basis ....plenty good quality fats , plenty liquids .. loads of things can help,

  • Oh my gosh, i can totally relate to you angelmom3950.

Gosh, i get soo nervous before i go to work and use the restroom before i leave and when i get close to work. It really sucks how it takes over your life and stops you from doing things.

  • you are not alone. I have had it diagnosed for almost 3 year, had it for at least 7 in my opinion, and was getting better, but a month and a half ago, I got food poising that made it all worse. And I know how you feel, I feel parioned if I go anywhere and I don't know if there is a bathroom there. so please know that you are not alone.

  • Hey I know how it is! So annoying! If you have a pain in your bowel try colpermin tablets that is pure peppermint oil! or andrews antacid powder!

  • well i was given mebeverine hydrochloride tablets but it didnt seem to be having much effect so then i tried peppermint pills, not much effect either. i was then given lactalose because the doc believed there was like a build up/blockage. so i think i'll take mebev and lactalose from now on. i feel im making some progress. i gotta work on my stress levels and diet.
