Taiwanese language is totally different from Chinese. Although we were forced to use Mandrin after 1949. The difference between Chinese and Taiwanese language is as big as the difference between Chinese and English.
oh really, if so how come there is so many traditions Chinese buildings (eg. Confucian temple) in Taiwan over hundreds years.
