@jZennyj Could be limited amount of colours available to be on screen at the same time. Making them have to use some alternative colour instead.

Fun fact, in the special stages, the spikes on the mines and checkpoint flags are color coded to the current emerald you are going for.

I noticed that the last time I played this game and now I'll always notice it when I play.

i prefer the saturn version over this one,but for a genesis such rendered siometric 3d graphics are absolutely amezing,i guess it was sega,s ansure to nintendo,s supermario rpg,not mention this game also uses special effects never seen before on a genesis,like those bonus stages wich looks like mode7 but feels like 3d.

it,s amezing that this game had no extra chip inside.

we talking about onlt 6bit color as opesset to the snes 8bit color pallet.

This game sucks only because its missing all the anime characters like cream and shadow who make the story alot more interesting

@JDilla2812 These characters didn't even exsist in the Sonic series during those days. They are from the modern day Sonic, which mostly has games in the '''this sucks balls'' category. They did make some good appearances though. Take sonic Advance and Sonic Adventure for an example! :D

this is a different version than the european version I think. I have the CD and it has a way more awesome intro than that

No you can't, sadly. But when you get all the Chaos Emeralds, you get to face the true final boss after you finish Panic Puppet Zone.
