  • pekingese dogs have great hearings for music... Mine does to...

  • Tina0090, My Pekes have always loved music. That is nice, since I am a Professional Musician & play alot on my

grand piano & sang to all. They loved it!

My "Capi" loves to hear MAma sing & play .

Even arranged special songs for all of my

    Pekingese.

  • Hola! Es hermoso tu pequi, te felicito!!!

Yo tengo 2, mira mis videos!!

  • Reply,Catalinasafari, Please believe me I know much about Pekingese & phallacies spread about them and Albinos. I have reseached in

depth & know there 'can' be eye problems. However, My FOUR PEKES have Never suffered from any of these problems, thank God. They have been True healthy Blessings in my experience since 1974-2008. Love, Penny

  • lol.... ALL PEKINGESE SEEM TO LIE DOWN WITH THEIR PAWS STRAIGHT BACK LIKE THAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THESE BREED THEY ARE PRONE TO EAR INFECTIONS AND EARLY LOSS OF EYESIGHT.

  • REPLY to brianpaymybill: I won't. Seems you know little about Pekingese. Mine lived 17 & 18 years in Health & Love with No ear infections, nor early loss of eyesignt. My current ALBINO Peke,"Capi" is in perfect health,&just celebrated 8th birthday. Your theory is DEBUNKED. I've had Pekingese since

1974,& All were Healthy,Intelligent & Joy- Loving. They are the Best companions! So Sweet & Beautiful!! See"Capi"on my channel.

  • pennymusicMAma,

I'm so glad to hear you say that about this breed! We have our Leo Piccolo (2 year old male) and look forward to a long life together with him. We watch his diet for food allergies, but he's easy to care for--just the best little companion! Hi to Capi! JM : )

  • Reply for MignonMe, I pray that Leo Piccolo will be blessed with a long life of abundance,

'Love& Joy'(as "Capi" would say). It is all about LOVE. my Pekinges lived 17-18 years & Healthy. Albino"Capi"is Healthy. One must know how to care for this Beautiful,Royal Breed. Even my Rescues lived long happy, healthy lives with me. Remember each one

& thank God for bringing them into my life.

     Blessings, "Capi"& penny

  • Ear infections are and never have been an issue with Pekingese. However, eye problems are a problem with some pekes. The biggest problem is that thier eyes are more exposed than other dogs which leaves them more suseptable(SP) to eye infections/injurys,which in some cases can lead to ulcers that are easily corrected if caught early enough. Quality dogs from quality breeders will increase the chance of a happy healthy long lived peke.

  • Beautiful puppy btw, he looks alot like my baby. :)

  • AStar898, This may be the case in several breeds, not just Pekingese. They do not have shallow eye sockets. I have been 'fortunate', as you may say, that of all the Pekingese that I have cared for & loved since 1974 - None had any eye problems. (Sorry, AStar898,

I have much experience with Pekes & research of Pekingese Breed/History.) Mine have lived long, Healthy lives. This is my experience. I now have a Healthy Albino Peke.

Many breeds, as stated,'appear' to have protruding eyes...

  • a cute little lion.

  • i guess my pekingese isn't the only one that loves listening to classical or relaxing music. haha

  • Where did you get him? He looks like one of my babies? What state?

  • I love this one.

  • Your Peke is an easy listening fan I gather!

    : )

  • It seems my peke relaxes to easy listening or classical music. While we are away, we always leave the radio on tuned to something soft.

  • You know, when we go to work, I leave on the local classical music channel, mostly for the soothing voices of the announcers to keep our Peke company throughout the day. Boy, he loves Charles Aznavour though! Your Peke is darling!

  • So sweet! Our Pekingese loves Charles Aznavour (right along with us!).

    Pekie Love is the Best!

  • Happy in the beginning only that cute puppy is (sad experience)

  • Oh my goodness..

  • I just love this!- Penny, & "CAPI" loves my music as well. Thank You.

  • Incredible!!

  • bogzos:"Misiek"is so adorable! As a Musician, I thought I detected him nodding his head & perhaps wagging his tail in rhythm to the music. Also, the way his ears responded.

A very special Pekingese. My"CAPI",albino Peke, agrees! My 1st Peke used to snore in time under the grand piano, when I was playing or teaching!:)-Penny

  • PennymusicMAma I would like to thank you for your very nice comments on many of Misiek's videos. Too bad your CAPI's video ratings and comments are shut off. If I could I would give you very good ratings.
