  • Old school!

  • @MyChefGreg

Yup, I am old, lol, thanks!

  • I wanted to watch you eat one!

  • The lone popper refused to give in to the flipper!

  • A DEEP FRY!!!

  • This is a nice take on the poppers. I am going to try it with empanada wrappers. they are sort of like somosa type texture. Nice! Was this your first food video?

  • @neurocosm

This was my 2nd video.... I like to think that I do better videos nowdays.

  • I made these for my christmas get-togeter.

they were a big hit! Thanks for another awesome recipe.

  • @MrTb0ne96

    Thank you very much!

  • MUMMM, looks perfect!

  • @JayJayhope

    Thank you!

  • If you freeze these right after you make them and then deep fry them they will do better.

  • The Pickled Jalapenos are better anyway.

  • kool video, can i use egg roll wrappers instead of wonton wrappers and also what kind of oil is best for frying them, thank you:)

  • @Tentomon23978

Sure! Eggroll wrappers would be perfect.

I like to use vegetable oil or peanut oil, either one is fine.

    Thanks for your question!

  • where can i find those tortilla things i dont know what there called let me know plz

  • @wranglerrose they are won ton wrappers, you can find them in the ethnic food aisle at your local grocery store.

  • where can i find those tortilla things dont know what there called sorry

  • Love PrincessDiane, thank you for sharing this recipe ♥

  • Comment removed

  • I wish princessdiana still made videos :-(

  • You were right to go with canned Jalapenos as fresh ones vary in hotness from pepper to pepper as the canned ones have a consistant flavor and heat. somthing you want when making those poppers great videos keep up the good work.

  • @JusswatchN2009

    I completely agree with you!

  • tnxs for sharing i like this poppers it is really a good starter... ;-D

  • Are those egg roll wrappers?

  • this kinda look like bootleg wonton but somehow it tastes AWESOME!

  • @65016792

    Thanks!

This is my 2nd video and it is so boring.

I am better at making cooking vids now, thanks so much!

  • @freitasex no prob

  • I want to try that filling between a flat chicken cuttlet rolled up breaded and fryed or baked? Good video

  • this looks tasty.. can you recommend a dip or topping to go with these? thanks!

  • how funny...this is the 4th video ive watched of yours, and every one has cream cheese.

    i love your videos btw!

  • Thank you :)

  • @leahg314 lol cream cheese junky -- when I watched this video my jaw dropped with how much cream cheese he used lol

  • hmmm how do you think that filling would taste in a pirogi dough?

  • I think Cream Cheese and Jalapenos are better than Cheddar Cheese and Jalapenos. I think the Cheddar overwhelms the Jalapenos.

  • I have never put cheddar with this type of food.

It just does not sound good to me... but hey it might be great.

  • Have you ever tried 7-11's Jalapeno and Cream Cheese Taquitos. They are addictive, but spendy.

  • We don't have 7-11's here in Indiana.

  • I've done this before, not bad. Try rolling it into a ball and then dropping it into egg and then a bread crumb coating. After they fry it's like popper balls.

  • Has anyone here tasted the Jalapeno and Cream Cheese Taquitos at 7-11?

They are awesome and I thought about doing the same thing as this guy with the Wontons and the Jalapenos and Cream Cheese.

    Thanks for doing this.

  • Great first cooking vid...looks good!!

  • I've been wanting to make these for a while now. I thought I was going to have to hollow a chili and bread it or something. Thanks for the vid.

  • No breading with this at all.

I thought this one up in the grocery store looking at empanadas.

    Thanks!

  • Okay so I made them and they came out bomb ! They are so easy to make. I did use two packages of cream cheese and a WHOLE jar of jalapenos. I added a half cup of chedder too. And I used two wrappers for added crunch. :) awesome recipe. Thanks for the ideas. I love youtube.

  • Glad to hear from you David and happy that you made them your own taking my idea further.

YouTube is awesome and you are too!

  • As i sit and eat these i want to thank you for uploading this. I used 6 fresh jalapenos that have been marinated in olive oil, 6 ounces of cheddar cheese shredded and 2 pkgs of cream cheese. They are great. My girlfriend doesnt like jalepenos so i made hers with just cream cheese and cheddar cheese, she also loves them.

  • WOW, thank you !!!!

    Your comment is the BEST!

  • Makin these tonight :D

  • They take some time, but o so good!

  • this guy can cook!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, thanks!

  • Looks easy and good.

I don't know how you could be more professional. Your videos are great.

  • OMG, this one was so boring, I was not ready to make the video and didn't think it through; it was my 2nd vid.

  • I think you did a good job too - looking forward to the chicken stir fry recipe.

  • hey can you make Portabello Mushroom Burgers? please

  • That sounds very tasty and good!

I do not know when I will make it.

It may take me some time to video it.

  • ok,no problem! :)

  • Sadly, I work at panda express and we freeze our cream cheese wontons. They fry up in about a minute or two without thawing. hope this helps.

  • Interesting question about freezing cream cheese.

    I would say no.

    Thanks!

  • AWESOME!!! I love poppers..but I hated stuffing the peppers, then the egg wash, then rolling them in breadcrumbs..it took FOREVER to make enough for 2 people. With your recipe, I'm going to buy a ton of cream cheese when it's on sale, and get a 1 gallon can of jalapenos, and a few packages of wonton skins..I will make a bunch and freeze them uncooked. Wonton skins freeze really well by the way, so grab a bunch when they are on sale!

  • What a great idea!

  • I'M HUNGRY

  • I am hungry right now too.

  • Freita, you are gorgeous!

  • I think you did an excellent job on this video. Especially if it was your second try. ~ They sound delicious by the way. My son loves poppers. ~ Planting more jalapenos this year just for them. Thanks for the recipe.

  • You are very welcome!

    Thank YOU!

  • ah that´s my kind of "snack" ^^ good work mate, looks realy good

  • They are a wonderful twist!

  • the oil complaining about the water lololol - awesome way to teach that.

  • These are very awesome, and the canned are better than the fresh.

  • Exactly, they are so good.

Sorry, but this was my 2nd video and it is way too long and boring, but the food is great and you should try it!

Don't use fresh, use the canned jalapenos.

  • i love these recipes. im gonna make poppers as soon as i go to the grocery.

  • Thanks!

This was my 2nd food video and it is sort of lame.

Way too long and boring, but the food is really great.

I get better at making the videos as time goes on.

Thanks again for checking me out!!

  • This does taste great and is easy.

I just want to apologize that this is my 2nd video and was too long and pretty boring.

    But Thanks!

  • Looks good and the filling was just cream cheese and jalepeno. Also nice job on sealing the wrappers.

  • Wow, I am loving it, I use those wrappers to fill them with rice, chillies and prawns and then steam them. Thanks lovely idea

  • Your suggestions or cooking I really mean, sounds fantastic!

I would steam them and then crisp them up a bit in some butter, perhaps; just a idea of taking it a step further.

    Thanks so much for subscribing!

  • Great video....don't go changin", lol!

  • Thanks hiemsgirl!

  • I actually like vegetable oil best, peanut oil would be fine.

    Thanks for your question!

    Happy cooking.

  • Yes, it can get tiresome to wrap these little buggers, especially 170!!!!

  • Wish I would have seen this vid for Superbowl weekend ;)

  • Oh darn, I am sorry.

  • okay -- the boys are going to love you on Sunday because I'm snagging this one and the Reuben sandwich for the super bowl party, lol

  • No, I think the boys will love YOU!

  • I see you love Halloween, please check out my Halloween Cookies!

  • I don't remember quite how I found you, but I'm sure glad I did. I eat a couple of raw jalapenos daily. This looks good.

  • You may have found me via AskCarrieLee.

I am glad you found me too :)

  • Wow, that's a great recipe!!! I faved it!!!

    Yummy!!!

  • Thanks!

It is one of my recipes that I made up.

I don't see you as a subscriber; I am sure it is a glitch.

    Thanks for Favin' the video!

  • I just subbed you about a half hour ago!!! I can't wait to make them. What kind of oil do you use and how deep is the pan?

  • I consider this one of my boring vids, because it is way too long that it needed to be, I have shortened my current videos now.

I am using a cast iron chicken fry pan.

The pan is 5 inches deep, and with 2 inches of vegetable oil.

I no longer use canola oil.

    Thank you for your question!

  • They take some time to put together, and they are worth it!

  • that's a beast recipe, now i'm really hungry ;)

  • Thanks so much for the nice comment!

  • Freita you rock! These jalapeno poppers you made look excellent. Keep up the good work and maybe you'll get your own show on the food network!

  • Thank you so much for your GREAT comment!

    Food Network LOL

  • Pico de gallo is simply a mixture of chopped fresh tomatoes, white onion, jalapenos and cilantro; very simple to make.

I will be happy to make a green chili sauce; I want to make some chicken enchiladas,

It may take up to two months before I make it.

    Thank You!

  • I want you to make the perfect pico de gallo for tacos! and also a hot chile sauce! (green).

  • please open you own restaurant and let us know the address!!!

  • What a great comment, thank you so much for the compliment!

  • Its like crab rangoon with jalapenos, I love it.

  • That was my idea... you figured me out!

  • The idea came to me one day in the grocery store.

  • YUMMY! Those jalapeno poppers look so good. love the won ton wrapper method.

  • With the won ton's they fry up in like 60 seconds.

This was my 2nd video, sorry that it is so boring.

I am a bit better now at making videos.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I have never seen jalapeno poppers made this way, but I must admit it is definitely a recipe I will be using! Thanks for the recipe and video.

Btw, don't apologize for the video. I loved it!

  • To tell you the truth... I was in a grocery store and saw some packaged empanadas and the recipe just came to me.

You have a wonderful channel, thanks for watching!

  • what are the little sheets called ps this is one of my fav foods they are grate

  • Won Ton Wrappers!

By the way... all my videos have the ingredient list in the sidebar/description for convenience.

    Thanks for watching!

  • this looks very good! what other stuff besides jalapenos could i use? I'm not much for spicy stuff =/ but good video non the less!!!

  • Thanks for subscribing!

I think you could use little pieces of shrimp, maybe even the shrimp that come in a can. In the grocery store canned shrimp is next to the canned tuna.

  • im gonna try this for christmas appetizers!

  • You will be popular if you make it.

  • YUM!!! I made these last weekend as a starter. They were a big hit. :)

  • WonderWoman, glad you liked them.

By the way.... you are Wonderful.

  • Just about any where... like Target, Walmart, any kitchen store, any grocery store...!

  • Wow! Made almost in the style of like, janelpeno-popper pirogies!

  • These just melt in your mouth they are so good.

    Thanks for watching & subscribing!

  • Great solution durig the recall

  • If you need help with putting your MySpace onto your channel, let me know

  • Thanks for the idea. I made my own variation. Being Indian, I just made some samosa dough and used that instead and I used fresh chunks of jalapenos rather than chopped canned ones and I added cheddar cheese to mine. They turned out great!

  • Wow your recipe sounds wonderful !

  • Did you try it yet?

  • It looks great *****

  • Thank you Doctor!

  • Those look absolutely mouth watering!!

  • They are a great appetizer.

    -Freitas

  • Great job! i am so hungry right now.

  • Cream cheese & Jalapenos in a crispy crust is so good.

    -Freitas
