You have no concept of "conspiracy to commit a crime." Most people in federal prison are there on charges they conspired with others to commit a crime, which includes planning and orchestrating the crime BEFORE execution of the crime.
Operation Northwoods equated to conspiracy to commit treason; however, JFK;s decision to not prosecute MacNamera etc., for treason set a precedent that essentially made other Operation Northwoods such as 9/11 & USS Liberty, perfectly legal.

I reviewed the studies that INDEPENDENT ENGINEERING AGENCIES performed to understand the various failure modes imposed on these buildings from the passenger jets (NOT missiles, NOT holograms, NOT alien space-birds), and, sad to say, it all works out.

I SAW the planes hit. I have friends who SAW the planes hit, and who lost good friends in the attack. I have friends who were IN the building and were able to save others and escape. I lost some friends in the WTC attack.
I also walked the site in the weeks after the attack, AS AN ENGINEER. I got to see first-hand the destruction, to observe the way that the buildings collapsed, the damage that was wrought when steel I-beams hurtled down from a thousand feet up.
