Me and my mom watch this every year before we go to disneyland and Donny does look like Justin Beiber lol but i always wondered the same thing when they said who is EJ Peaker lol
When we visited there, I pulled off Goofy's head and ran with it. The guy in the costume was so pissed, he ran after me, screaming obscenities. He got fired for that. I laughed so hard I nearly pissed my pants. That was quite amusing.
My mom tells me all the time about how when she was a teenager every girl was in love with the Osmonds. I now know why. Damn they cam sing. This is the first time I've ever heard them. I didn't know Donny was every this young... he's adorable!
I love these classic programs. Shot on film--so it evoked this deep other world. No easy shortcuts and crutches being used like the whiplash crank-motion digital camera movements that saturates today's stuff. I used to see this kind of stuff on the Disney Channel all the time in the 80's. It was already "outdated" then, but they still had no compunctions about airing it, and the national audience had no problems with watching it.
I remember disney channel use to show this like at twelve at night it made me want to go to disney... so me and my wife go about every two years... just to be kids again
I live in the 70s, how wonderful it was. Knowing all those WWI & WWII vets. who's victories gave us the freedom to have a Disneyland. WWI & WWII vets gave us the Jumbo Jet 747, I saw Woody Herman and his big band there too just like the vets of WWI & WWII and all other wars too. The vets gave us Disneyland. God Bless :)
I have to agree with tinytoes409 (below); to be quite honest I thought I was the only one who would think these things. I have no clue why a sense of wholesomeness, friendliness, and just plain cleanliness are no longer items to be desired. It is so sad, that society as a whole has declined to what it is today, We walk the parks thinking that at any time we could be fought with, robbed, etc. etc. when just not too long ago as evidenced by this video, people walked and had just plain fun -- sad!
The first time I saw this video was when they were reairing it on Vault Disney on the Disney Channel in 2003! I bet that is when DisneyParkVideos Ti-Voed this!
Wait; that little girly-boy is Donny Osmond, as in the last Broadway Gaston Donny Osmond? Dancing WIth the Stars Donny Osmond? I'd say Small World, but I think someone already beat me to the punch, lol!
I had the worst crush on E.J. Peaker after I first saw her on "That's Life" with Robert Morse, as I was in junior high at the time, and never missed an opportunity to watch her whenever she was on TV at the time.
Notice how everyone is so nicely dressed...some women in dresses...not like the fat slobs that hit the parks now. They have all of their junk hanging out to get a tan...eeww!
@tinytoes409 I was there yesterday and let me tell you, it was SAD. The Park is great, but the people walking around....I have NEVER seen so many obese people on electric carts in my life. Don't get me wrong, there are handicapped people that need them, but some of these people were just simply obese and didn't want to walk. Everywhere I went, there they were, in the way and taking up all the space. Reminded me of WALL-E with all the lazy people. So sad.

I remember seeing this late one night on the Disney Channel in the early 90s and thinking to myself, "Just whose this late sixties group that looks like Hanson with Beatle haircuts." LOL. I didn't think anyone wore those after 1968. In public
This is too good to be true, I never thought I'd be able to see this again. I remember seeing it when it originally aired in 1969. I loved it then and I love it as much now, thanks again for posting it, I loved seeing it again. Great job!
I am such a DISNEYFREAK! I think they should reopen The People Mover cause at the moment the track is empty and Disney Worlds People mover is Popular, Kurt Russell is so young, probably in his teen years as a STAR! XD
