@meoke1212 I agree. I think Goth has a different, deep, perspective on beauty. We will grow and realize that Goth is not about being dark, or satanic, or self mutilation. Most importantly, these images of self mutilation do not belong, because we don't want kids to think that that is what Goth is about, and have them cutting themselves with razors. Its about love.

People always think songs like this go towards just emo people. But it appeals to alot more then that. Have you ever had your heart broken and not by some girl you dated for 2 weeks. No.. the wife who just lost her husband in a U.S. bombing attack over in Iraq/paka. How about the child that just lost their parent. And not some abusive parent, but a parent that meant the world to them.
You do infact feel broken. You want solitude. You want peace. You want them back. The song means that to me.
don't even start comparing bands like Theatre of tragedy or lacrimosa to any emo shit, emo's may take some things out of this music, but will never have the talent to even come close to composing something like this (and i haven't heard a single emo band able to sound remotely like Theatre of tragedy)

EMO is just a bad cheap imitation of goth, one step below transvestite. Search the emo song, Emo is emotional people or the genre of music emo which usually means the softer side of rock. People who dress emo usually aren't emotionally damaged, just attention seekers in dodgy outfits. Emo's aren't anything to do with goth or punk, the same as scene they are a genre for damaged people, attention seekers, or wanna be's. I hate it when people get them confused.
BTW I love this song.

Everyone should let the others be who they want to be and let them call themselves they do. Y'know, sometimes I say, fuck EMO, fuck alter, fuck everything what's not metal. then sometimes I say that metal (the style, not the music) is just an armor to protect myself from almost everything. In my darkest moment I turn to the goth, and let myself be consumed by darkness. sometimes I love these, hate those, other times reverse.Know what I say now? Take an emo,metalhead,alter,goth -->cont.
