Amazing song. I remember way back in late 70s, when this song had reached India. It was played everywhere -- from a juice centre and paan shop to every home. Mehdi Hassan won the hearts of every Indian and music lovers globally. Ghazal kings and princes and wannabees come and go but Mehdi saab is the Emperor -- ruling our hearts forever.
