I worked a few of his shows as a techie; nicest person I've ever met in my life...anyway, 10 seconds before he went on, he looked at me and said, "watch this"... then he pretended to trip on his way to the stage and he spilled his water all over my stage manager, apologizing profusely for a few secs before I escorted him down our little "cubby hole" leading to the stage... he put his arm around me and said, "I learned that one from Dean Martin"...
