This isn't a spam advertising message, just my personal opinion. For those of you who would like to learn Japanese, a GREAT place to learn is a site called yesjapan.com. It's easy, interactive with teachers, and greatly affordable. ($10/month for basic). They have a few free lessons for you to see for yourself before subscribing. I use the site myself and have learned the most from it.
This truly brings me to tears. As a Japanese-American myself, I cannot express how moved I was by all your effort. If only I had known about the event itself sooner! Thank you for your support, Tanakasan, and all.
@zeal42 America isn't rich. In fact, it hasn't been rich since the 1990's. The world richest countries are Hong kong, India, the oil countries in mid east and Singapore. America is strong only because of it's military and political power. But money wise, we are dirt poor. Get your fact right please next time before lecturing others. If America was so stinking rich, why are we in like trillion of debt?
@Zelgie I said of all the western countries, America is by far the richest. You just listed a whole bunch of eastern and middle east countries. Read it properly then reply. k thnx
Hey Ken!! I watched a movie last night, I can't remember the name but there was a scene where a man is using a paper shredder and a sign above it that said, "Ask Ken Tanaka how to use paper shredder." HAHAHA How funny! I hope you are doing well and I am so glad you are helping out Japan!
Whoo! Go Ken and TAkeo! Oh and everyone else in this video and that museum of course, too! Whoo! Ken, you'll be happy to know that I've recently arranged to have $4 deducted from my paycheck every week to be sent to the Japanese Relief Fund as well as victims of other disasters and food drives for here in L.A. to help the homeless. Woo-Hoo!
@FrostfoxFilms After Katrina, the international community offered $840 million. Your government only collected $400 million and only used $40million to actually aid and reconstruction because of incompetence.
That's what happened and you would know all this if you payed a little bit more attention to whats happening in your own country and start thinking for yourself.
@noxure I didn't ask about the international community. I asked about Japan. The answer is that the country of Japan donated $0. Perhaps if you read the comments a little more closely, you might not seem like such a fool.
@FrostfoxFilms Out of all the western countries America, being by far the richest, gives the least to charities outside its boarders. And when Katrina hit your president did fuck all to help the people of New Orleans so STFU. k thnx
@Zeal42 Are you serious? United states has donated the most by far! If you're going to reply to someone to make yourself seem smart make sure you know you're facts or else you just sounds stupid! Not only are we donating money but our military is providing hundreds of millions of resources of relief support, Us military was also the one that made the adapters for the Australian pumps that are cooling the nuclear plant at this very moment! Either know your facts or keep your ignorance to yourself
@dpineapple20 Did you even read my comment because it wasn't about your military, adapters or relief support. I said that out of all the western countries America give the least to charities outside its boarders even though it is the richest. NOT that it doesn't give at all but that it gives THE LEAST. Maybe you could read better if you didn't have your head up your fucking arse. Now go read it again & reply with another "America! Fuck yeah!" comment so I can taunt your stupidity another time.
So was I, so I decided to learn it. What's stopping you?
These days with the internet, you can learn a language for free. It would be a crime not to jump at the opportunity you have at your fingertips. People of old days would kill for access to so much information. Most people don't realize how lucky they are and squander their potential.
