  • You realize you cause yourself more trouble than is necessary, and you instigated that police stop so that you could make this video. Dave Dave Dave, Do you ever ask yourself "Am I doing any good for anyone by being an attention whore and a whiney little diva"? No Dave you are not. you tie up the police so they cannot do their jobs. please move to N Korea where you might do some good. than you.

  • hell yeah 28 days later

  • cops asking for Id i find that really anti freedom anti american

  • People like you make my job such a pain in the ass. You people think we are out to get you. Your simple misunderstanding and "I know it all" only prolong how long you are there. You waist my time, you waist your time, and you never get anywhere. Every time I pull someone over like you, I dont give them a break. Your stereotyping of us, makes us want the judge to "throw the book" at you.

  • it appeared to me , that you wanted to be arrested , that you stated to the officer " I am prepared to be arrested, i have watched many of your uploads, and you do have quite a few misquotes , you need to stop and listen more to what is being asked, or said , before you assume the worst.

  • You are an absolute Baffoon and cause more problems for yourself...

  • You are an absolute Baffoon and cause more problems for yourself...

  • stupid video, i don't even know why you would upload this, you just make yourself look like a jackass.

usually i'm not on the cops side, but really? you should find something better to do with your time...

  • Comment removed

  • need more people like this EVERYWHERE not just NH

  • I hope your never a victim of a crime and expect the cops to question the suspect. Better yet if you are dont waste the taxpayers money to ask for their help, save that for the people who appreciate the work they do.

  • This guy is a fucking retard

  • He probably thought you were retarded and crazy. If you are going to record at least do not be a dumbass.

  • maybe if you paid half as much attetion to what was happening to you as you did to farting around with your camra an phone to capture a 7 minute video of nothing happening, you wouldnt have misinterpreted what he said...

  • I love going to NH - we go 3 or 4 times a year.

I may be missing something, I do not understand what the officer did that would garner the reaction and response that he got. The driver was driving slower than speed limit and checking a map. It was late, after midnight and around xmas time. Allot of DUIs around that time of your. I would say the officer was well within his rights to pull you over. Not sure why you would give him attitude?

Officer seemed to be very polite. I've dealt with worse!

  • Fishing for truffles. Good old officer just wanted to make sure everything's alright.

  • yea its a joke cops are trained 2 ask where u been where u goin what u doin it has nothing to do with me putting my turn signal on at 150ft before a ture instaed of 200 ft they want people 2 tell on theirself so they can collect or in better words steal more of our money cops want u 2 be doing something wrong we need police but its getting to be them against us not them 4 us

  • @DavidForthoffer... I stand by what I said before. You want... in fact you HOPE and DREAM... that an officer will stop you. I wonder how many hours a week you drive in circles trying to get cops who have really little interest in you to pull you over.

  • @DavidForthoffer... you are mistaken. Officers do not need PROBABLE CAUSE to order you out of a car. In fact an officer needs REASONABLE SUSPICION for both a traffic stop as well as a frisk of a car or your person. You can be stopped for say... speeding... and then the officer notices your odd evasive behavior. The camera did little to show your hands and where you were reaching in the vehicle. An officer does NOT have to allow you to reach into the glovebox to retrieve documents.

  • I would have called for backup and had as many cops as possible surround your car. You refused to do what the officer said to do when told to do it. You wanted a problem so you created one. You keep your windows up tight for no reason in an attempt to create a problem... the cop should have done as the law says he can do and ordered your butt out of the car.... just to set you up to argue that point. You gave this cop so many reasons to jerk you around yet he treated you well. Your a loon.

  • @robsmithnikon: Some people, including officers, mistakenly believe they can order a driver out of the car whenever they want. That is simply not true. They can legally do so ONLY when they have PROBABLE CAUSE that the driver is involved in a crime, or is a danger to the officers. For example, if an officer pulls over a driver for mere suspicion of drunk driving, the driver is entitled to keep the windows rolled up tight and not answer any questions, except for license, insurance, registration.

  • If I know I did some type of motor vehicle violation I throw myself on the sword in dealing with cops. However if I did nothing wrong then all bets are off and I will unleash on him or her. I do pay their salaries after all and they should be the ones who respect me! Also I am seeing this more and more, routine traffic stops that require more than one cruiser whats up with that?

  • @crossingtheswamp1972 - There is a great website that has a bunch of stories that explain why more and more cops back each other up on routine traffic stops and low priority calls. Google Officer Down Memorial Page and read up on the last 10 years.

  • And you mikeolmanlovesyou are such a moron for commenting on a video you dont like

  • you're such a moron.

  • Dave made a small mistake. At least he didn't kidnap anyone. And he didn't lie. And he didn't violate anyone's rights. And he didn't interfere with the doings of people who should be free. And he didn't hide behind the Nuremberg defense. And he didn't steal under protection of a badge.

But he DID fight for other peoples' liberties.

Dave is imperfect. Unlike the pussy-ass little cowards who knock him from afar, he admits it, up front. History will remember Dave Ridley. God bless you Dave.

  • @JesusDillinger The cop didn't do any of that either. The cop just did his job. Dave was trying to get pulled over... and for all we know dave was a drunk at the time.

  • Sorry, one last thing. When do "they" just suspend your license without your knowing it? When does that ever happen and to whom?

Unless your license has expired or been suspended or revoked by a court or unless you have failed to appear in court on a summons or warrant or something of that nature, your license has not been suspended. Presumably, you would know if something like that had happened.

As I said, relax. I think you Free State guys are letting your imaginations run amok.

  • Ok. Last comment. A few hints: When pulled over, turn on your interior lights and place your hands where they are visible such as on top of the wheel. As this video shows, he will look around with his flashlight anyway, so you may as well put him at ease that you are not reaching for a weapon. For that matter, grabbing for your phone is probably not a good idea. Have your license and registration where you can find it easily.

And relax. Exercising your rights does not mean being paranoid.

  • Funniest line in the video:

After seeing you driving very slow in the middle of nowhere; He finds you fumbling with your camera and furiously calling someone on your phone as he approaches; You start talking about being arrested without his having mentioned it; You initially can't find your licence or registration and attribute it to being nervous about being arrested or threatened with arrest . . . finally he asks,

    "What's going on today?"

    and your response,

    "Why do you ask?"

    Hilarious!

  • @gillianorley I agree. If anything the cop didn't do enough. I'm not convinced that old David there wasn't drunk or high and putting the rest of the population at risk. Like you said... he fumbles with his license... gets flustered... and then grabs objects and points them at the officer. The cell phone call was a MAJOR risk. Allowing someone to place a call asking for assistance and giving their location is a real problem for the cop. Dave could have been calling someone to kill the cop.

  • @robsmithnikon Tards like this make libertarians and free thinkers get a bad name.

  • And after all that, you didn't even get a ticket.

Let me guess, you've never gotten through airport security without being pulled-aside for extra screening and you've never gotten through customs without having your bags searched.

Sorry. I don't mean to be a complete jerk, but you came off as incredibly suspicious. I consider myself a libertarian and I'm wary of cops use of their authority, but the guy who pulled you over was like a saint. I would have asked to search your car.

  • Paranoid much? Have you never been issued a traffic ticket before?

I'd have been embarrassed to post this video. I guess you deserve credit for your candor.

The cop really showed good humor. He was obviously perplexed by your words and actions, yet, he did't become suspicious that you were hiding something and act as such. The way you were bumbling and spoke of being nervous about being threatened with arrest, I probably would have thought you had a dead body in the trunk if I was the cop.

  • Wow, normally the cop is the asshole. But you have to be the biggest asshole I have ever seen. If I was that cop, I would have jerked your ass out of the car and tased the fuck out of you.

  • what a fucking fag. did the cop ever threaten to arrest you for video taping you? what a piece of shit.

  • This is total shit! What a freak...

  • wow dude your a fuckin douchebag......

  • Don't hate on cops for enforcing the law, hate on the politicians who make the laws. Idiots.

  • He infringed on your rights. To be left alone. You were not breaking the law, so why ask for anything from you. That is what is being deteriorated - we need to prevent unnecessary stops by the police, so that they can focus on finding the crimes taking place and not wasting peoples time.

  • Wow. Usually you're pretty prompt and courteous with LEOs without backing down. But in this, you were an asshole. He was asking friendly questions, wondering why you pulled over for him. You then made him wait on random crap for apparently no reason, and then declined even normal small talk. These guys are people too. If you just let him know that you were unsure of where you were going, and stopped to check a map, he probably would have just taken a quick glance at your ID and reg and left.

  • David, you really need to stop demonstrating to everyone how much of a complete idiot you really are. You really enjoy deliberately sticking your thumb in the eye of every officer you come in contact with, hoping you provoke a negative response. There are more and more and more of us involved in the freemen movement that wish you would just shut up and fade away, becoming the insignificant little turd that you are.

  • Pizzagod, I need to correct you on something. I never admit to anything. To do otherwise is to give up your 5th Amendment right not to incriminate yourself. Let the cop prove his own case. If he can, he will. I'm not going to do it for them.

  • wow cops are fat pigs?? im going to laugh when you call 911 and no one comes...

  • lmao haha.

  • >Implying they would arrive in time to prevent any crime against me worth calling them about.

Oh wait, you cant greentext here.

  • @volleyballcutie100 cops are fat pigs? lol you are an ignorant, dumb, immature kid. Where would we be without cops?

  • @Kirbygames89 We'd be richer and more free. Also props to responding to the generic cop insult with an ad hominem attack calling the person puerile, the icing on the cake being that you preface said attack with "lol"

And i don't mean to flog a dead horse, but you are a 21 year old who, as far as i can tell, plays a lot of counterstrike, probably in a clan of some sort (check his user page.) so you probably don't have too much life experience yet...

p.s. disregard if you were being very ironic

  • fuck the police the fuckin pigs

  • You probably would have heard the cop the first time if you weren't ignoring him and playing with your phone and camera.

  • Dave, you should always have your camera ready.

When you did all that moving stuff around, the cops get nervous, they have no idea what they are walking up upon.

    when I get pulled over

1st, pull over as far as you can

2nd open the window (2 inches if you like is fine)

3rd put BOTH hands at 10 o'clock position, you will help put the officer at ease when they can see your hands.

4th, DO NOT fumble around getting license and registration/insurance ready for him,.

  • 5th, when the officer asked for your license and registration/insurance, tell him where it is and wait till he says you can reach for it. "it is in my wallet in my back pocket" officer "Ok, can you get it for me"

6th NEVER argue with the officer. If you know you were speeding, admit it.

7th, always be be nice and show respect by saying "Yes Sir, No mam"

the last 4 times I got pulled over

1 - 66 in a 45, I got caught in a known speed trap (well unknown to me) He gave me a ticket for 56.

  • 2 - Pulled over for speeding, 72 in a 65, let go.

3- pulled over for running a stop sign in a small town, let go after a verbal warning.

4 - Pulled over for tailgating a semi on an interstate, let go with a written warning.

All 4 of those were out of town

I have also been let go with just a warning more often than ticketed in my home town. Most know who I am because I own a pizza shop across from the Police Station. They see my truck (with Car sign) all the time.

  • @PizzaGod you miss the point. we shouldn't have to grovel to the police they serve us not the other way around. the idea that we should jump through all these hoops to prove we are not armed and dangerous is pretty ridiculous to me. i do get my license and all out before they get to my car that is only courteous, but we should be able to record them, they record us. not only that but if we record them they are less likely to abuse their power (which they often do)

  • @danieljedi42

You may have missed my point. Out of the 200+ times I have been pulled over, only once or twice did they not have a reason. (I don't exactly follow all the laws of the road)

They key when you get pulled over is to make sure the officer feels comfortable. They have NO idea who you are or what you may do. Most officers who are killed or injured in the line of duty happen at routine traffic stops. That is the 2nd most dangerous thing they do. (Domestic Disturbance is #1)

  • @PizzaGod i get what your saying i just don't think we should always have a camera ready when dealing with the cops. i think you said that and i miss read it. you've been pulled over 200+ times? jesus slow down man.

  • I use to have a 70 Barracuda, if I saw a Plano TX police officer, he would pull me over. They would U-Turn or what ever and follow me until I did something, or pull me over for a tail light.

But the last 5 times I have been pulled over, only 1 ticket. That officer wrote the ticket for 10 miles per hour lower than I was really going. (Dover TN, I am from TX) He was very nice and did it to save me over $50 (that is what he said)

I now drive a 98 Nissan PU with lots of RP stickers

  • @PizzaGod remove the "don't" from my last comment about the cameras. yeah i was thinking either your a bad driver or you had a badass car one or the other. did ur new car come with the RP stickers or did you have to add that feature. yeah he did you a real favor a cop did that for me once too saved me like 15 points on my license. there are cool cops out there that look out for people but a lot are just out there to write tickets and feel powerful

  • @danieljedi42

:) I have taken 2 of them off, but still have 4.

I also have Michael Williams, Kenny Marchant and Debra Medina stickers on there. (oh and the "take out the trash '11" sticker)

I have a Gadsden flag Greg Abbot sticker to put on I just got from his campaign.

  • I ain't never seen nobody pulled over for driving below the speed limit.

  • And you havnt seen it here either. That was only one part of the explanation. The officer also related that Ridley went over the centerline...given the time of day+the unusualy slow speed+the drifting across the center line; all give rise to suspicion of intoxicated driving. The officer even said he was checking to see if everthing was alright...found out it was and sent Ridley on his way....No big deal

  • well if you're driving well bellow the speed limit at 12:30 am when most people are at home or trying to get home as quickly as possible...it would look like the driver might be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, I don't know about you but at midnight I'd be driving well above the speed limit so I can get home. Also folks with low sugar levels like diabetics would drive very slow like this fucktard did and an officer would pull them over just to make sure and sometimes saving their lives.

  • I guess your right. I hadn't thought of it that way.

  • no offense your like pathetic... yea if you dont like the country leave... maybe you should cry your self a river a get over it... really you have no respect for anyone..

  • @volleyballcutie100 Thomas Jefferson said that Dissent is the greatest form of patriotism. the great thing about our country is that if we don't like something about it, we can try to change it. telling someone that if they don't like it they can leave is something that a fascist would say it is very unpatriotic of you you should learn what our nation is about before you spew bullshit

  • Ridley...did you cross the center line just to get a scoop?

  • Best thing is never roll the window down more than two inches.

  • Great job Ridley!

  • haha, oops

  • I wonder why he didn't like your camera in the 'on' position.

  • That is why I like the recording. The officer clearly indicated he was not willing to arrest you (which you since corrected).

Video/audio generally helps to clear up things for everyone.

  • Yeah, and I don't wanna be pulled over, so I guess that makes us even.

  • Just a scare tactic by the PD. They were laying in wait just to show you who is boss in that town. Concerned for you safety my ass. Are patients in dire need of help ask for registration. All I saw was an inquisition. Nothing here was about helping anyone.

    Failed revenue reconnaissance.

  • "Just a scare tactic by the PD. They were laying in wait just to show you who is boss in that town"

Were you there? How do you know all this? Share your knowledge please.

  • WTF!?!

  • Ridley asserted his rights in a polite and mature manor. So, he mis-heard the officer, under stress it is very easy to do. Calling him a "nutjob" is completely inappropriate and suggests that you are not a liberty loving American.

To the officer's commendation he also handled the situation maturely and with respect to Ridley's rights. Traffic stops are generally a high stress situation for everyone involved. Officer's are trained to expect the worst and approach with a sense of paranoia.

  • I called Ridley a nutjob because he expressed himself to the officer like a paranoid robot, and kept reiterating how he was documenting the situation. He acted like someone who had something to hide, when he clearly didn't. It's a sign of a guilty conscience.

  • There are plenty of libertarians who get unreasonably confrontational with law enforcement people. Ridley is not one of them.

Every encounter I have seen between Ridley and law enforcement I think he goes out of his way to be polite while exercising his right to remain silent at the same time.

Obviously he was nervous. I don't blame him for exhibiting a basic human emotion in that circumstance.

  • Unreasonable behavior:

His first thought is to call other libertarians.

His tells the officer to "stand by."

He says, "I'm going to decline to respond to that request" like a robot. A normal person would say, "I'm sorry, but I have the right to keep recording."

Then he says, "I'm prepared to be arrested rather than stopped," already admitting his inner guilt and making the cop more suspicious. That part's just insane.

  • p00lman you slut, back at it whore?

  • I think it is somewhat bizarre to call the libertarian hot-line "for backup." Unreasonable? I certainly wouldn't define it as unreasonable.

"Stand by" I personally thought was better than "wait" or "hold on a minute." That's really kinda subjective no?

Ridley's lack of any sort of eloquence and his kind of shaken presence can be attributed to nervousness.

    Is nervousness a crime?

  • Do nervous people declare, "I'm prepared to be arrested"?

  • Apparently they do.

  • But do normal nervous people say that?

  • I guess if your definition of "normality" precludes someone using those words that puts Ridley outside of your conception of normal.

  • Way to duck the question.

If a cop pulled you over, would you tell that cop, without provocation, "i'm prepared to be arrested"?

  • I wouldn't necessarily use that phrase, no. Not because I think its disrespectful to the cop or even particularly confrontational. I wouldn't say it because I think its kind of a pointless statement.

Does a cop really care if you're "prepared" to be arrested? I doubt it has any affect on the cop at all.

Maybe Ridley was saying it for posterity? Who knows?

Would I define it as the unreasonable actions of a man with a guilty conscience? Not so much.

  • Ah, I like that you agree with me that Ridley cleared has a guilty conscience.

  • To be fair to Ridley I also heard "I'm going to arrest you" when I first played the video. And innocent people do get nervous when they are pulled over - I know I do.

What did he expect the Libertarian Hotline to do for him? Maybe provide him with quotes from the Founding Fathers to bludgeon the officer into submission?

  • Alta Vista: "Business as usual"

  • I should tell you that I disagree with Ridley probably 75% of the time, but I appreciate what he does.

He has compiled many many hours of video documentation of gvmnt agents and officials acting reasonably and decently in all kinds of different scenarios and situations.

Also, I think that his style of video surveillance- "journalism" might actually reinforce the (mostly) good behavior that he documents.

  • I've noticed many of your comments, and they do seem very reasonable. And while I agree that a lot of his videos do portray government officials in a positive light, despite his efforts to show the opposite, that many viewers will be decieved by his dishonest spin.

Thankfully, people like you and I are prepared to discuss the content of the videos.

  • "Thankfully, people like you and I are prepared to discuss the content of the videos."

As well as whine, cry, name call, nitpick, spit, and seethe.

Foolboy, who let you out of the crib?

  • If a cop pulled you over, would you tell that cop, without provocation, "i'm prepared to be arrested"?

I would have to say yes, if you're seasoned in the area of civil disobedience.

  • LOL

Nothing I've seen on Ridley's channel even comes close to civil disobedience. Standing in front of a tank in Tiananmen Square and pointing camcorders at various NH officials doing their job is NOT the same thing.

  • Well, that gets into definition. They may consider it civil disobedience, therefore it is civil disobedience. Redefining is a natural phenomenon within progression.

At the same time, I'm not saying what they are doing isn't traditional civil disobedience. Nor do I feel like looking into it further to see what is or isn't civil disobedience in this particular case.

In school I was taught that if you go to jail to protest a law, you are engaged in civil disobedience. My teacher loved it too.

  • Critical one, what do YOU do to advance peace and freedom or what have you? I'm willing to bet it's armchair waring. If I'm wrong, you may slap me in the face, if I'm not, please shut up and DO SOMETHING. Thanks.

  • I advance peace and freedom by voting. I know it's a crazy concept but I live in a democracy and I actually use the process of democracy to make life better.

So you're wrong. When can I administer your slap?

  • Yeah, and about that... how has that worked out for you ("us" or "we") so far? Where do you see it all going from here?

  • It's working out fine. Change takes time. It's only you lot who believe in quick fix miracle cures. Now about this slap you've got coming to you...

  • Well feel free to slap me as hard as you like. I don't care for any of this government we have and I don't support it, even with my wallet.

I appreciate that you still fancy that it works; I used to feel that way but my hope lies in what I believe is the most effective tool, which is cutting it off at the root, therefore dissolving it as rapidly as prudent. Thanks for being polite. It displays some sensibilities; something lacking from a great number these days.

  • Screw your personal opinion of "normal". And it's not illegal to talk or act "not normal" anyhow pinhead.

Also notice that those 'fancy lawyerin' people talk all kinds of funny'. Ever wonder why?

And "guilty conscience"? Are you serious?

Is that why the cop didn't want to be recorded? Did he have a 'guilty conscience' because he was about to kill Dave, grind him up in a woodchipper, and dump the remains in the woods? Bet he wouldn't want that on tape!

Give me a fucking break moron.

  • No one said it was illegal to act like a nutbag.

  • Good. I wouldn't want the cops pulling over everyone wearing clashing colours, and arresting anyone with a stutter.

As I said, it's paranoid confirmation bias if everything seems suspicious and "not normal" to you.

Someone exercising their rights and video taping? In NH? No fucking way!

Maybe y'all should stick to the simple stuff, like muffled screams coming from the trunk, bags with dollar signs or "Loot" written on them and go from there. You know stuff actually indicative of crimes.

  • exactly.

  • Unreasonable behavior? You wrote the book on that foolboy!

  • Foolboy calls Ridley a nutjob because that's what he lives to do. And then he wants to discredit people for not being courteous.

  • in NH do the police have 'dash cams' with audio? If a NH cop asked not to be recorded do then have a right to request they turn there recording device off as well? curious....

  • Do cops own those vids? No. Do they post them everyday on youtube for anyone to float on in and comment? No. Big difference.

  • your missing the point but thanks for trying.

  • Ahhh - I see you decided to go with the old "thanks for trying" bit in your youtube comment reply arsenal. You're a clever and cunning adversary I see...don't see that one everyday.

  • cool cop, fag driver

  • The video adds yet another law enforcement encounter to Dave Ridley's substantial compilation of government officials acting reasonably.

Dave did obviously get pretty nervous when he misheard the cop. Maybe Dave heard what he wanted to hear, or heard what his extreme anti gvmnt paranoia has conditioned him to hear?

Either way I thought you handled it well Dave.

  • gee Dave may you read Marc Steven's book, you would be better prepared.

  • That looks like a Saturn's dash.

  • What is messed up is when you're pulled over and you can't even see the officers face since they blind you with the flashlight. Like an interrogation with a big blinding lamp. Still, you must be in a area with zero crime that they have nothing better to do..what a waste of your tax dollars. Most cities the police are too busy responding to crime after the fact to go looking for slow drivers or potential violations.

  • Yeah right - cops should just try to feel their way through the dark on traffic stops - Lakewood, WA is prove positive that everyone on earth are peaceful liberty lovers. If you pulled over like Ridley, and was due to a mechanical issue and the cop behind you didn't stop - you would be the first to scream TAX DOLLARS - LOSER COPS etc etc.

  • No, they will use the flashlight as intimidation. Ever try to talk into a blinding light? We expect more from our public servants. Btw, if your car breaks down call for a tow truck via 911.

  • The people in "28 days later" aren't technically zombies.

  • that was pretty pointless

  • I think it was a good example of how to act as a knowledgeable citizen while being plled over. and the exercise of such a persons rights

  • I thought it was a little ridiculous.. Especially considering how he pulled over in front of the cop, making the cop think that there might be a problem, and then blatantly wasting time just to prove to that he knows his rights.

Not to mention wasting our time after he watched the recording and discovered the cop was just making sure everything was alright.

But yeah, if you learned something from it, cool. Pointless imo.

  • Yeah, Dave.

Next time turn on your camera if and only when he starts beating you with a nightstick. That way he wont be inconvenienced by you taking the time to start it first.

  • From your sarcasm I wonder if you also think that he should have whipped out a camera and called for "backup" if it had been an ordinary citizen who pulled over to check if he was alright.

I assume your the kind of person who pulls out a camera if the cops show up and pulls out a gun if it's anyone else.

I'm sure those were the cops first intentions but then he saw the guy had a video camera so he put his night stick back.. Lol, I hope your joking and not seriously that paranoid of a person.

  • By that logic, if Dave was arrested he shouldn't even ask for a lawyer. Because only guilty people with something to hide need a lawyer or people who are "paranoid".

Oh wait, the cops have cameras in their cars, call back to the station when they make a stop, and they carry all kinds of weapons, when they are just pulling an "ordinary citizen" over for driving under the speed limit. Which according to you is just paranoid.

They don't need any of that until someone actually does something.

  • Oh, I didn't realize that we're living in the modern wild west. You never know which sheriff is gonna beat you, arrest you, but not destroy the camera you're filming him do it with..

I didn't realize that a regular person with a regular job should be as prepared to defend themselves as a police officer.

Do you frequently bust down doors and put handcuffs on crack heads and wife-beaters too?

I suppose your personal liberties outweigh those of the innocent caught in the crossfire. logical

  • i agree, your comment was pointless.

  • Yours definitely wasnt.. Way to prove your point by proving me wrong.. Oh, you couldn't do that. =( darn

I didn't realize I was going to piss off all the ridley fan boys for stating my opinion.

    lol

    standby.....

  • Wow, i hit a nerve. Go cry to mom, i didn't read ur response.

  • didn't? or couldn't? Because you once again wouldn't have anything enlightened or important to offer. You're apparently Ignorant and loud mouthed. Not a good combo, but thanks. Got anymore bullshit to prove my point, fan boy? You like dave too much i think. Kinda weird.

  • loud? my comments have audio? ha ha, loser.

  • thanks for proving my point.

  • Tsk Tsk - you read his comment. Idiot. Hit me back for the BIG WIN.

  • Foreigners (some not all) can be ignorant bastards.

  • 'I'd look like one of the zombies in '28 Days Later'.

    hahaha

  • I have my current tag registration and insurance card for that vehicle in its own separate envelope. That way when they do the papez pleaze line on me, I am not suffling around the car. Might make a video on that.

  • Yeah, you sure wouldn't want to inconvenience someone who's wasting your goddamned time.

You should be ready at all times to give them what they want, any random time they ask, instead of organising your life around your own personal convenience.

If someone in a profession, that I estimate on average take 20 minutes to fill out a simple ticket, complained I was taking too long to give them my paperwork, I wouldn't be able to suppress the laugh.

  • You miss the point. If you have the papers ready in its own separate envelope let say stored in the visor, then the LEO doesn't get to stand there looking at all of your paperwork and through your glove compartment while you are shuffling around trying to find it. If they see ANYTHING suspicious while you are doing that, it gives the probable cause 2 search your whole vehicle.

Like it or not the law is on their side for u producing the paperwork. Give it 2 them without exposing yourself further

  • That's fair enough.

Oh wait. According to p00lman, that's probably not "normal", because everyone else doesn't do that. So it would just be cause for greater suspicion.

Think about it. If I were coming from a bank robbery, (or smuggling Jews through a Nazi checkpoint), I'd make damn sure I had my paperwork straight and on hand. So shouldn't that be cause for suspicion?

And so is driving below the speed limit, (I knew it! My grandmother must be a criminal).

    Paranoid confirmation bias.

  • This is interesting!!
