I am almost 20 years old and i have to go to the cancer center for lab work to check my white count, The doctors have no idea what is causing me to have a high white count, The scary part is they talked alot and now they hardly talk. What im truly afraid of is having a bone marrow biopsy & finding out, I have cancer, because I have so much cancer running in my family. @ my next appt. if my white count is still high, a bone marrow biopsy is the next step. any advice/encouragement would be great.

i was diagonosed with cancer a year and a half ago when i was ten, had a huge tumor on my theiroid and another smaller one on the other side of my theiroid... 1 month after my surgery i was abot 5 ft and was so sick i only wayed 60 lbs and the doctors couldn't do anything to help me so they put me on iv and i prayed that i'd get better...and with lots of fighting i came through...SO EVERYBODY KEEP FIGHTING AND WE CAN BEAT OUR SICKNESSES!!!!!!!!!!i pray for ya!!!

This video makes me cry as it reminds me of how I went thru the most painful procedures ever in my life - last two ones I had - in past several weeks - needles poked thru my skull - to block damaged nerves with no sedation - having to be awake and keep my eyes on doctor was very difficult, but I can look back and be proud I made it thru those rocky roads and although have a few more bumps on the road to go thru, I think I'm going to find the highway to life sooner than later!
