  • Rafał możesz mi podarować tego cintiqa i tak nie wykorzystujesz jego potencjału, a ja nie mam na czym rysować;/ Proszę -.- Nie stać mnie, aby kupić;/

  • lol are you serious? you are using intuos for drawing but using a 21 cintiq as a monitor-.-

Photoshop? :)

  • what size is the one used in this video?

  • what computer monitor is he using and where can I get it in the US

  • @MrVodka122 he is using a Wacom interactive pen display and you can buy them on wacom's website they aren't cheap though

  • @MrVodka122 yeah its a cintiq its not worth getting just to use as a monitor as you can pick up better monitors cheaper.

  • epic fail

  • i have intuos S and feel fine with it.

  • why the fck ya use az intuos, if you have a cintiq 21 ????

  • that is an intuos L not the XL.

  • wow....why the hell have a 21 inch Cintiq AND a Intuos XL....WHY!?

  • I've got the small on the way now. Got an email saying it shipped last night. Ordered it yesterday, refurbished, with all parts and pieces, in mint condition with a year warranty (compared to 2 year warranty new) for around $150. I'm so freakin stoked ... i've got so many ideas to draw and i can't WAIT for it to get here... AAAAAHHHHHH!

  • How many of us would kill/die for a 21 cintiq? And this dude is using it with an intuos? I think thats retarded. I dont care if it has any advantages.

  • @saprissa9 it just the way he's wasting money..

even us kind hard having one of them..

  • That is Large size....

  • how do you know where the pen will draw on the screen is where im confused? with a mouse you know where your brush is how do you know where the brush stokes on the intuos will land on the screen anybody give any advice? btw im choosing beetween intuos4 and the cintiq, cintiq obviously wouldnt have this problem any advice appreciated thanks..

  • @bwiddup1 I know this was some time ago, but I'll answer your question if you don't know yet. When you move the stylus slightly above the tablet, the cursor on your computer will move with it. That's how you'd know where you're drawing.

  • @bwiddup1 once you get used to it, it's actually easier to know where your cursor is than with a mouse. wherever you hold the pen in the drawing area is where the cursor will be on your screen. The drawing area (rectangle inside the tablet) IS your screen. You zoom in and out for more detail. Also the cursor shows on the screen just as if you were using a mouse. You hover the pen slightly over the pad and it still picks up it's location. then apply the pen TO the pad for a reaction.

  • i always wonder... but isnt hard to draw when your not looking at the board, but at the screen instead?

  • @hexshell you'll never know until you've tried :)

  • @hexshell no ;)

  • 0:03

    XD

    upper left corner

  • Hi guys, please tell me what is the best option for me.

Buy an ipad plus a small wacom bamboo fun.

    OR.

Buy a large wacom Instuos4 large?

I want a tool to make professional works, concept art paintings and comics, but i dont know if the ipad would give a good draw quality, i want to know the diferences betwen the bamboo fun and the instuos4? why is ____better than the ohter? ( please reasons of why did you choose one tablet up to the other)

  • mmmm i don't understand something and if anybody can xplain me i will apreciate it n____n, so i saw that video of that picture is doing for promove it like 5 years ago or ibeen more............ y dunno understand, the vid was remastered for re-release it on?

  • How do you rotate the canvas using the wheel?? HELLPP!!!

  • @djmaui It only works with photoshop CS4 ultil now, intuos is default configured to do that...

  • Jaki jest format tego Intuosa 4 na biurku? L? XL? Czy monitor to Cintiq 21?

  • this guy is stupid he have a wacom touch screen to draw -_- and he use a wacom tablet in +.... stupid

  • @nohiro The Clintiq model has a different texture to the surface, and maybe he prefers the surface of the Intuos for his more high quality work... Who knows? Well, at least he is stimulating the economy with his money! :P

  • @nohiro they are different in many ways...the intuos for example have 2x more pressure levels than that cintiq, and i bet the feel is really different.

  • @jmsaxophone i know i have an intuos 4 L

but for that video that guy didn't need a cintiq so... it's just waste money =/

  • za krotki ten filmik ale w porzadku !!

  • 0:05 I see what you did there.

  • is that CS2?

  • 1:30 that is so cool, what an amazing job

  • this guy has a cintiq and he bothers with the intuos, why? no really

  • looks kids he is using a pc

    how it fucking should be

  • Size XL & L = Need a longer stroke, Suitable for those who use to draw or paint Canvas or something bigger. Size M & S = For those who draw small stroke, usually for people who like to draw small things eg. comics, editing photo.... or usually for those who don't move their entire arm to draw something...

  • does anybody know why he draws with the intuos and uses the cintiq as the moniter?

  • @spandexninja It is somthing like Drawing using table vs Canvas...

  • This looks like the L size is big enough for digital painting. What is the XL size used for?

Does anyone know the benefits of the XL version??

  • more fluid lines, able to use arm as pivot

also for large screens it gives more control/precision, useful if you're doing printed work

  • @Vorsatz13 I use the L version and I found that you need a longer stroke to draw something, I use to draw something with just a small stroke... so in this case I have to change the way I draw. If you like to do oil painting on a large canvas I think you better get the L or XL version... if you used to draw comic or draw something with a small stroke in A4 format then you are fine with the medium or the small one..

  • whoa he's using an Intuos AND a Cintiq as the monitor???

  • what size hes using????

  • the large one it seems

  • hahahah

    sorry my mistake!

anyqay, im still looking for other xl users.

  • hello there!

thats an X or an XL ???

    i have a XL

and want to meet other users of it.

  • xl... x doesnt exist. just s,m,l and xl

  • Nice drawing I use Cintiq not and Intuos

  • hey isnt the intuos4 small not TOo small? will I work fine with it for drawing?

  • @princessofDBZ yes...all intuos 4 are extremely professional products. The size depends on how you are used to work. In the large size tablets you have to move your entire arm to draw (well, depend on your resolution, but you can consider true), and in small size tablets you need just to move your hands. It is like draw in a little sketchbook or in a large A3 canvas.

  • @jmsaxophone lol I have it now for 4 months its awesome!! =D

  • @princessofDBZ I think small is a bit too small to work on, most people choose the Medium size because

of the similarity to a sketch book

  • @MegaMo99 aah ur to late im joking I already bought intuos4 small, well It was my gift and it really works fine! its not too small like it said its just small it works great with mij 15 inch macbook, But I understand people who finds it to small or finds it great

  • Amazing! I use the intuos4 medium tablet with Autodesk Sketchbook PRO, wow!

  • dude, you have a cintiq 21ux and decided to deposit more money on a large intuos? dude, weak

  • some changes int he pricing department and they should price everything to my budget... ^.^

  • fuck that...it shuld be free lol.

  • This guy is an amazing artist, I love his stuff. I have a few questions though... He is using an Intuos4 tablet and using a Cintiq as a monitor why? He can just use the Cintiq as a monitor slash tablet or use the Intuos4 with his monitor in the background. Maybe he is just flaunting all the awesome stuff he has on top of his great art abilities... Also, WHY IS THIS TABLET SO EXPENSIVE??? I know its awesome and all but being that expensive means I can't afford it which means there needs to be

  • is Rafal using Photoshop or Illustrator ?

  • Comment removed

  • The intuos4 is raping me mentally right now. I'm gonna order this... tonight! Or tomorrow. :o

  • ok which is better the one wheree u can see what ur drawing on the tablet screen or the 1 where u have to use ur pc's screen to c what ur drawing i no the 1 which lets u c wat ur drawing by just using the tablet cost more but its soo expensive so is it easy to use the tablet that uses the pc'c screen?im new to this stuff but im an artist so i really need this

  • Well if you're new to tablets buy a Bamboo or if you've got more money buy a Intuos4. I think that the Cintiq (where you can see what you draw) is overpriced, but if you've got the money Go for it!

  • I started out with computer animation, then wanted to buy a tablet, so I currently use a black bamboo fun small, and I'm asking for an intuos 4 medium for christmas. So yeah, bamboo awesome starter tablet.

  • Are you really 26?

  • im an artist to and I prefer using the wacom cintiq , the one where you can see what your drawing on the screen. It feels more natural for me as an artist. and yea they are ridiculous expensive, even the small one

  • actually guys , intuos 4 is great and you dont have to limit yourself with cintiq 22 inch , you can have as an example 30 inch apple and intuos 4 large and i will work perfect , cintiq has heat issue and power and actually the screen isnt that good so try to buy yourself a decent lcd or crt and use intuos 4 and you will never regret it

  • wow... Dude has a cintiq & an XL intuos... Isn't that ... absolutely pointless?

  • prolly because when using cintiq ur hand covers up some of the screen, harder to add details. :3

  • @Lanasun0621 If you have used both you will understand. Cintique as many artist in my company have said, takes away from your natural feel of drawing.

Intuos 4 feels just like paper. CIntique is so smooth you dont feel anything. After you work on it for ages, and then draw on paper you notice your "Line" qualiy and confidence is deminished a great deal.

    Understand?

  • @EatYourChimp really? i was wondering about that because it feels so different between my skecth pad and my cintiq. I figured it was the whole stress with being new Photoshop and stuff. I feel somewhat more at home with paper. i never thought of the Cintiq being too smooth. hmmm good point though

  • @Lanasun0621 that's exactly what I was thinking....

  • @Lanasun0621 that's an old cintiq, wich has just 1024 pressure levels, while the intuos has 2048 pressure levels. So there is a point in it

  • @fiskenertrondheim u dubass u jus said one is completely superior to the other. so why use the cintiq?

  • @rougexyz Becouse there is a newer cintiq on the market wich has 2048 pressure levels, and has the same technology as the intuos 4. The one he has in this vid is the older one wich has intuos 3 technology.

  • @Lanasun0621

That is not the XL, its the Large model. The XL has a white color to it.

  • @Lanasun0621 REAL professionals use both. If you full time job is graphic design/arts, you can find use for both. For people who use it for hobby purposes, one would be just fine.

  • @Lanasun0621 This is because you don't understand how Pro's working

  • I just asked someone else the exact same question. I was under the impression that the whole point of buying a cintiq was for the accuracy of its touch screen, now ive just learnt that many concept artists use both the intuos and cintiq together, im just not sure why. My guess is that the cintiq can be a strain on the eyes as you have to be really close to it in order to draw on its screen, so what their doing is using teh intuos from a distance and adding final touches with the cintiq, a guess

  • @SamHain1031666 Actually, its usually the oposite. Most ive seen and talked with prefer the Cintiq for the sketching part, cause of its more natural feel. And then do the finals touches with a Intuos, and maybe an Eiza display - more sensitivity and precision and for better colours.

  • @Lanasun0621 (Sorry, I see you posted some time ago). Not necessarily. At the time this video was made the Cintiq, although impressive with its on-screen drawing capability, had technical specs that weren't quite as nice as the newer generation Intuos (and the gen-2 styli). I have both and must say the extra sensitivity and better pens of the Intuos4 have something to offer over the Cintiq UX. However, as of this week the Cintiq 24HD looks to change all that!

  • @Lanasun0621 y, but I think he is russian.

  • @mickehill He's from Poland :)

  • ok sorry I made a mistake, the white crosses are on the large version too,

anyway this looks like the xl version

  • this is the XL version ! 100%

at 1:25 you can see the white crosses on the tablet surface, those are missing on the Large version

  • No guys this is that large one i own one the Xlarge are way too bigger than that

  • Hi i just sold my intuos2 12x18 because it was hassle when using it with zbrush becuase of reaching for the keyboard.. I want2 a new one 4 both zbrush and photoshop. But for detailed work, can i get away with the medium.for detailed accuracy or would you say to get the large one.

  • Hey , the intuos 4 is cool and it will really help u with both zbrush and photoshop , i used it with zbrush it amazing and i used it with all graphic application out there it is a very decent tablet , and about having dual monitors i think intuos 4 large will fit u perfectly for navigation and drawing if the tablet is bigger than the screen it will be slow becauze u will have to move your arm in a large area than u see but if it some how close it will work very fine , ofcourse u can size it down

  • that Was biggest one XL

  • do you belive that's the Large?? cause look like XL to me

  • Didn't "Fallen Art" come out 5 years ago?

  • ok, so the guy has a 21" cyntiq, but uses the intuos 4 instead... is there something wrong with this picture?

  • I agree with that lol o:

  • yeah wtf?

  • haha!

  • I bet he uses cintiq, doesn't own the intuous 4, but used it for the commercial, and it was provided by wacom.

  • agreed

  • wow

  • I think this is the large , the X large is bigger than this and oh i love it , Lon live wacom

  • is that the large?

  • niezł gadżet, ciekawe ile kosztuje takie cacko...
