I'm visiting Fontainebleau next month (February 2011) and I hope it's open even during this winter season. I love castles and this Renaissance era chateaux is so beautiful. It has so much history. Several French kings lived here: Francois I, Louis the 15th, and Emperors Napoleon I and Napoleon the 3rd. Swedish Queen CristinaItalian lover was brutally murdered inside Fontainebleau (which opens up the possibility of his ghost haunting this site!) LOL

Merveilleux chateau Fontainebleau, j'ai eu la chance de voir le théatre qu'Eugénie a fait construire, il va etre fermé au public pour etre restaurer

This is a very nice castle from rhe style of Renaissance. I didn's see more beautifoul! Must see my child as well! Save it for the next ages, please!!!
