...how funny it was last time when a client called us frustrated by the fact that we did not respond to his inquiry... that he sent 2 weeks ago (!) via the CSIC website...

We had to apologize and tell that we did not receive anything. In fact, client's message was forwarded to us from CSIC website one week later...

Is this a sort of _client_protection_, Nigel ?!

The lawyers that are being generously paid to file all your claims, applications, etc... maybe they do protect CSIC clients ?

Please write to CIC and tell the government why you support the proposed regulations that would see CSIC replaced by a new regulator. It is time for change. CSIC is not standing up for consumers or for the membership. It is only spending members money on pointless legal challenges that do not represent members' wishes.

Go to CSIC's website and download the 2009-2010 financial statements.

There in black and white is a small item for professional fees in the amount of $1.5 Million. Professional fees really means legal fees. That's double what the amount was the previous year. And that represents about 30% of membership fees. CSIC knows no limits. It files court action after court action. CSIC's lawyers are laughing all the way to the bank. Please close shop now.
