Yes you are right making your own is the right answer. It makes you independent and free, you don't need to rely on anyone for energy. I'm not so much for industrial windmills or solar farms I'm for each individual being independent and self reliant.

i know i might sound like a sales arsehole but i think we all should stock up on neodymium iron borite magnets and varying gauges of enameled copper wire...i smell revolution in our lifetimes..do it for your loved ones. electricity is a NEED these days. if the establishment falls (be hopeful) then too does there resources. millions of good people wont survive the first winter. dont be afraid...be prepaired. solar panels/ wind turbines/ gasifier...and a bow and arrows =}
