@deniimusic check you have done chmod command for it, check and try it again. Also try rebooting your handset then go into x-terminal and do the commands again. If it still fails then I would suggest trying a different game or if you really want to play that game check on preenv compatibility page to see if it is working first or if u need any patches for it. see description

@dhaval1431400 from your app manager, make sure extras-devel repository is enabled. If you do not know how to do this or are unsure then google n900 repositories guide, its really easy to do and takes under a minute to setup.

@axrxgxixn Dude, there are plenty of games @ this free downloads website: coolrom . com Do u have Nokia N900 ? i also have N900 and i was searching everywhere for the games so desperately, and i finally found it. Go to this site, choose Rom Files, download it to your Nokia phone. Download the snes emulator on your Nokia AppManager, install it on your phone, open it, choose the downloaded Rom games , and click play. I'll be creating a Video in three days. watch it, you'd be able to understand.

@dekiller44 looks like you have installed it in a different path to what i suggested (so not sure if it will work), but the error you are getting is to do with you not being in right path when typing your command, go back a folder path and type again to try.

@eivis13 Not exactly, if it was that easy then everyone and anyone would be porting over things and we would have a ton load of more apps! But sadly that won't be the case. I'm unsure of the whole procedure as i don't have any developer/programming skills but a good place to request a port over of an app/game would be to go to maemo.org forums.

@abhishekc1984 All game and app files should be under /home/user directory. Follow the steps in the video, you will need a file manager to move the game files accross into the correct folder.

That is why you are getting the error

@Gosman94 download and install Rootsh then enable your 3G/2G web, then go to x-terminal and try the commands. Double check your commands if you get any errors as the slightest mistake will throw these up........check for missing spaces or capital letters etc as if youve overlooked any of these then it won't work.

Have assassins creed for my nokia n900, the pad your moving with is on the screen, so is the jump button, and nokia n900 doesnt support multi touch, so i have to let go of the pad and press jump quick as hell, and STILL dont jump as far as your supposed to do.

@000abhay asphalt5 u need to do the fixes, see description for both videos. There is also a link for compatibility, you may want to take a look at that and see which games work and what is required etc. Exit x-terminal and try that command again in a few mins, also check u are in right folder.

@OnlyAnAsianBoii I could but then again the process is very much the same apart from some games requiring fixes which shouldnt be difficult to do considering you can manage the rest.

However, if I do receive an overwhelming response for more webos related videos then I will gladly make them :)

@OnlyAnAsianBoii Then you would need to follow or lookup installing deb files vid. I have not yet covered that area yet. There aren't many good games on the n900. The WebOS have so far been the best but unfortunately some you cannot play due to multi-touch requirements. Then of course you also have emulators which you can run your classics an use a ps3/wii controllers etc with.

@HangOver75 all webos games install the same way but some require fixes which are detailed in the compatibility guide. And always remember your path as if ur in the wrong folder then it wont work so make sure you check on ur pc and see what is where.

@mohammednabeel14 somehow youtube don't let you post links anymore!! well i cant anyhow!! you will not find it in the repositories anyway mate just make sure you have maemo extras-devel set up on the phone, then look for and instal rootsh in your app manager, then go to you x-terminal , (you will find this in Utilities) then type

(sudo gainroot) and press enter then type

(apt-get install preenv) and press enter.

It’ll ask you if you wish to continue (Y/n) type Y and hit ENTER

@mohammednabeel14 your question has already been answered and i have mentioned it in the video that you need to have all your repositories enabled for the apps that I mention here which I have covered, usually the main 1 to have setup is Extras-Devel, howeever there are others as well such as Extras-Testing etc. If you dont have these set up then you wont be able to download preenv.

@aggressive2011 I would recommend doing a re-flash of the fw on your handset and start fresh as it could be anything that will be causing this issue. However this is not a sympton of installing webos games, ive had issues like this before and it can happen to anyone. So do a full re-flash of emmc and fw.

@omitakatori14 try uninstalling any apps that you dont use or require any more. Also try the commands apt-get clean then apt-get autoremove
