Damon.. he's one of the strongest characters in the whole series. He started his vampire life with a broken heart and have been pushing his feelings away for such a long time and now finally, he found Elena - witch first only was a replica for Cathrine, but that he later on fell in love with. But then, she also chose Stefan like Cathrine did. But he will always protect her. He doesn't even care about Cathrine anymore - if he could chose one of them - it would be Elena!!
